Very interesting song, I like how it goes from soft to dark and then to other different directions. The progression is also pretty versatile and it never sits in one place. The instrumentation choice is also very rich and beautiful. Great job, keep it up :D

Aetherous responds:

Thanks, Dude!! I've been having so much fun making music this summer!!!

I'm not a fan of hip hop usually but I really took a liking to this! It feels relaxing and calming somehow while also being upbeat. Kind of hopeful too and even a little nostalgic. Really nice stuff, keep it up :D

GeminiGemini responds:

Thanks :D

Very beautiful, definitely very sad. The way you used your woodwinds helped kind of lead the emotional part of the melody while the strings emphasized it. The slow down at the end was also really good to drive home the point. Great work, keep it coming!

Rhombys responds:

Thank you very much for your feedback, and for you to take the time to listen!

Reminds me of stuff I'd listen to when I was really small, like 2 - 7 years old lol. I really like it, it's definitely calming, and the build ups you use here instead of giving an energizing feeling, sink you more into calmness. The cello for bass was perfect, and the little glistening sounds during transitions really help add a magical feeling to it. I really love this, awesome work as always keep it coming :D

ZaazNG responds:

Thank you so much! Nostalgia was definitely the vibe I was going for :)

Ooh it gets weird at 01:55 ish I like it! Overall the drum beat is really interesting and unusual, the piano melody sounds really quirky and the random insert of other instruments especially towards the middle really adds towards the target feeling of the song. It does give this funny/weird feelings so I think you nailed it :)

Keep up the great work!

ChaytonMan responds:

I thoroughly appreciate the rundown, especially your comment about the insert of instruments near the middle since that was the one part I wasn’t totally sure would go over well since it’s such a sudden shift. Thanks again!

Really interesting and unusual. It took a few directions throughout the song, and eventually evolved into this beautiful heartfelt melody. There are also interesting uses of gates here and there which I liked. The strings probably bring out the emotion the most. Its just really nice and has a journey to it almost, so keep up the awesome work :)

ssymboint responds:

Thanks lol. I'm not entirely sure what I was doing. The filters were pretty much a random mess haha but I'm happy you like them. Like usual, the end melody thing was improv. It sounded good so I stuck with it. Thank you so much :D

Man I'd love to know more about your game, because if it's as good as the song it must be really interesting! I like this loop a lot, it's seamless and very calming. And even then it still varies within the short timeframe and manages to entice a lot. I also really like the instruments you used, they were perfect for this. Great job, keep it up :D

ssymboint responds:

Haha thank you. The game isn't great just yet but I'll give you an overview xD If you're familiar with the greek myth of orpheus and eurydice, it's based off that. In short, your friend dies and you have to go save them from the underworld without being able to interact with your friend. It's kind of an RPG which is set in a school. The character you play keeps on phasing in and out of this dream world - which is the underworld. Tbh I don't have many sounds and I generally end up using the basic ones while editing them. thanks lol. Your Gron 4 Space game is sounding pretty good so far. You keep that up :D

This song is a strange and beautiful journey like thing, I love it a lot :)
It sounds very alien first and foremost, definitely very unusual. Maybe it's the 11/4 time signature? Which by the way, you executed perfectly and I don't think I ever heard 11/4 before. That end is also just so dark and gloomy but so awesome. The songs weirdness is probably what makes it so beautiful and helps it stand out as much as it does. Amazing work, keep it coming :)

ravarcheon responds:

thank you so much for the wonderful comment, it makes me feel very happy and i'm glad you enjoyed my song :)

That was an interesting and well done intro that leads in to some pretty heavy and cool stuff! The song kinda sounds magical because of all the glistening noises and the light percussion, as well as the roomy feel. It's just really relaxing and I love how you executed it. Great work, keep it up :D

kiiri responds:

very glad you like it! do stay tuned becuase i've got a similarly themed song coming in 2 weeks time

This is lengthy and awesome sounding, just how I love it! I love the intense and catchy bell/mallet like melody that fades into an awesome and impactful synth one later. This sounds like something that can play on some high speed car chase or racing game I'd imagine. Great job, keep up the awesome work!!

(also you have a pretty based conure profile pic)

oddfellowfloyd responds:
