Wow! Very immersive ambience you got going throughout the track here, and the mix is awesomely clean. You're using very nice sounds here too, sounds very gloomy and just overall acidic. Could definitely work for some kind of fight theme as you said. Keep up the great work :)

Vultyrex responds:

Thank you. I try to capture the location/setting and convert it to a sound that'll make you think that's where you are.

Oh wow I love the progression on this so much! It's so light hearted, happy and playful :D
Super energizing and mood lifting, with really cool instrumentation and effects throughout. I love the little marimba flairs you put into this, it really gives it a strong dance feeling. The intermissions in the song are great too, they're very enticing and are perfect for shifting the progression. The stabs are awesome drivers for the melody you provide, and I love the homophonic melodies that really immerse you deeper into the song.

My favorite part about this piece though is it feels a bit adventurous. It starts happy, but then we shift to a more darker theme, and then towards the end the happiness wins (yay lol)! You don't ever feel like you're stuck in one point of time while listening to this song, and I think that's very awesome. Can't wait to see more great stuff from you!

Preds responds:

Wow, thank you so much for the awesome review! Glad you liked it, and yeah, I was aiming for a dark vs happy genre, I guess it turned out good in the end :).
Also, don't be too confident about happiness winning this, the dark mood still has something to show... soon... ;).

Thanks again~

This song feels kind of like a journey, which I really like; there's not that much out there like this, let alone stuff that retains my attention! Also correct me if I'm wrong... your drums are at 6/8 at some parts? That's really cool and creative, it takes a lot of courage to work with different meters and make something that sounds good haha. The synthetic textures in this are beautiful, and the percussion definitely fits the Synthwave genre. Very spacious, great use of reverb, and perfect timing to keep this interesting through all 7.5 minutes. Keep up the awesome work :)

ItsBurner responds:

You guessed right ! I was inspired by the drumming in "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica.
You pretty much understood the song, I have nothing to add, thank you very much for your kind words =]

This sounds very calming and chill. I love the different combination of sounds you used to give a bit more of a unique flavor to your track; the 8 bit noise high hats, the bell like arps, the pluck, the compressed percussion, and all that echo, really makes this sound beautiful! I think you really managed to produce something beautiful here, and I definitely think you should keep up the great work :)

INDIGNO responds:

Well darn, dang, that's rad I'm glad you like it!

Sounds very jungle like, and I love the pads and synths you used here! This song sounds very warm and extremely groovy. The percussion really adds to the immersion and the space of this track as well. I love it so much! Keep up the amazing work :)

NightLover responds:

Thank you so much, that means a lot TwT

I love this a whole lot! The drops are very hard, glitchy in a cool way. The synths you use are very good, and the percussion is amazing. The mixing is great, loud and clear but not oversaturated. This is extremely dynamic and progressive, and full of life. Please keep making more amazing stuff!

Thank you! More to come in due time

I love the percussive intro, you have no idea where it's gonna go until you hear the little plucks kick in! Definitely have the underwater feeling, especially with the bass you used here. The melody also progresses very beautifully. My only issue with this is that the part that begins at around 1:18 is very resonant, maybe a bit too bass boosted. But otherwise this is amazing, keep up your great work!

DarkGod666 responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the harp at 1:18 feedsback a bit with the spacey impulse response of a piano note, I was considering changing impulse responses, but now I probably will.

Gotta love mixing chiptune with modern instruments! I love this clash you got going on here, it fits together very nicely. The melody is very catchy, the bass is bouncy, and the pads that start around 0:40 are really amazing for a bridge. When the arps kick in after that bridge section it sounds very cool and robotic, amazing job! Can't wait to see more from you :)

Typewriter7051 responds:

thanks! anything I can improve on this?

This flows very nicely :)
The percussion is very exciting and fast, and the bass is super supportive of that. The gentle piano really helps build up atmosphere and space, and the occasional vocals too. The bridge is a really good pause in the song that helps variation. Overall this is very nice, keep making more music!
