I love this a whole lot! The drops are very hard, glitchy in a cool way. The synths you use are very good, and the percussion is amazing. The mixing is great, loud and clear but not oversaturated. This is extremely dynamic and progressive, and full of life. Please keep making more amazing stuff!

Thank you! More to come in due time

I love the percussive intro, you have no idea where it's gonna go until you hear the little plucks kick in! Definitely have the underwater feeling, especially with the bass you used here. The melody also progresses very beautifully. My only issue with this is that the part that begins at around 1:18 is very resonant, maybe a bit too bass boosted. But otherwise this is amazing, keep up your great work!

DarkGod666 responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the harp at 1:18 feedsback a bit with the spacey impulse response of a piano note, I was considering changing impulse responses, but now I probably will.

Gotta love mixing chiptune with modern instruments! I love this clash you got going on here, it fits together very nicely. The melody is very catchy, the bass is bouncy, and the pads that start around 0:40 are really amazing for a bridge. When the arps kick in after that bridge section it sounds very cool and robotic, amazing job! Can't wait to see more from you :)

Typewriter7051 responds:

thanks! anything I can improve on this?

This flows very nicely :)
The percussion is very exciting and fast, and the bass is super supportive of that. The gentle piano really helps build up atmosphere and space, and the occasional vocals too. The bridge is a really good pause in the song that helps variation. Overall this is very nice, keep making more music!

Many thanks :)

Very interesting song you made, and it's definitely pretty fast so it fits perfectly into nightcore genre! The part that 1:45 definitely helps the song by adding some variety, and the bass/harmonics are very nice. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps giving this song more melody, as it sounds very repetitive (although the part that is repeating does sound nice) and I feel it would really spice up the work. Great job, keep it coming :)

Okinasai responds:

Thx man! Yeah, this was my first attempt at something similar to nightcore and I do agree with adding maybe like another melody along with the main one. And thx again, sure will.

Really interesting, relaxing beat. Short and simple, and I guess that's the charm of it! The drum pattern is a little interesting as I don't hear it too often, but you played well with it throughout your piece. The harmonics were very supportive of the melody too, so I think that was very neat. Keep it up! Do it for the elephants

BusanBlack responds:

Thank you so much! I appreciate the review!
For the Elephants!

Very interesting use of a droning sound effect for a piece that sounds calm and ambient. I really love the pads you use, and just the progressions in general. My only suggestion is that there's one note in some of the sections which is off key (you can hear it around 0:13-0:15) which makes some parts of the song feel unsettling, but otherwise I really think this is an amazing work. Keep it up with the beautiful music :)

Rollforbear responds:

Thank you, when I get back to working on it ill make sure to look into that. I appreciate the note and the compliments.

This really has your classic lead/melody signature on it, I love this remix! Never heard you do much drumstep before though so that's pretty cool. I love how the melody wiggles so much the most probably lol

Can't wait to hear more from you :)

SpeTheof responds:

Thank you so much! it means a lot ^_^

You have an amazing build up, and really beautiful piano progression in here. Definitely sounds like something that could work for a level! My only issue is that the song sounds like it's about to go somewhere but kind of stops abruptly, maybe if it was a little longer it would be really great! Keep up the great work ;)

Awyeron responds:

Thx for commenting!

Sounds pretty funky, sounds like something that would fit perfectly in a retro style video game dialogue scene. I love the main instruments a lot, and the bass is definitely very groovy! My only suggestions is that towards the end it feels a little loud with the harmonica instrument, and maybe the pads dwell for a little long, but otherwise it's a great piece! Keep it up :)
