This was so amazingly beautiful! First off I need to point out that the progression was perfect, it just kept changing and evolving as time comes back, and even has a callback to the beginning as the song is slowing down and ending. There's a lot of emotions, very heart tuggy ones too. Kind of this lonely atmosphere of a bench or something that's seen the test of time and been through a lot. The dynamics of all the instruments were utilized so well, they would become louder and quieter all at the right times. The playing of all instruments is also all so natural as well. Honestly this song is amazing and I can just keep saying more if I wanted to but for now I'll say awesome work, keep it coming!!!

Thank you ^ ^

For some reason this reminds me of Sonic music from the early-mid 2000s, I really like it! The instrument choice is awesome, because not only does everything work together very well but you also used a really cool variety of stuff including a mix of older and modern electronic instruments. Definitely also has an alien vibe with all the dubstep-y parts to the song. It sounds foreign yet so awesome. Keep up the great work!!

This sounds very sweet and uplifting, I like it! You also have some fun drum drops when leading to more intense parts. The song has a lot of energy while managing to be calm and happy at the same time which is really nice, and the instruments you chose work very well together. The mixing/mastering is pretty well done too! Great work, keep it up :D

thanks sir

Reminds me of early 2000s trance, sounds awesome! I love the longer intro, and how it just all kicks in around 0:54. The instruments you chose not only fit that early 2000s trance feel but also just sound great in general, and work together well too. At 1:25 I love the lead that kicks in as well, sounds kind of like a SID instrument and I'm very fond of those. Great work, keep it up!

Even if I don't make music often, I want to make some unique sounds, thanks for the comment! I always appreciate the constructive ones

This sounds so suave, I love it! The instruments are so smooth and kind of instill this relaxing feeling, while the song also at times develops into this late night beach city vibe. The flute has to be my favorite instrument in this as it just has this beautiful melody backed by all these other instruments that work together so well. I think the progression is great through the whole song, and the later part that gets a more intense drum beat is just super nice. Awesome stuff, keep it coming!!

Tysm for the positive feedback man! I usually make more upbeat edm so this was kind of uncharted territory for me. Super glad you enjoyed it, I’m definitely going to experiment more with this genre in the future!

Why do you think you failed? This sounds cool! I like the beat first off, but also all the instruments and timing of everything in general. I think the monkey noises is a funny but very wise decision for a jungle like song. The atmosphere is also definitely jungle like, sounds like something that would play on a level high up on the tree tops because it also sounds a little airy (in a good way). The song also does a great job at varying up and not sounding stagnant. I think you should be proud, it's a nice song :D

Keep up the great work!

CDJeremy responds:

That's an incredible analysis, I'm honestly surprised that you noticed all the elements I added to try to make it sound like a jungle. Sorry if I sounded pessimistic in the description, it's just that when I try a new style I don't know if I'm doing it right lol

Interesting atmosphere and twist, I didn't expect the heavy drums to kick in all of a sudden but it made for a very unique track! The piano was already beautiful (especially with the breaks), but the drums provide some kind of intensity to the peacefulness. It's an uplifting intensity too, something feels happy about this song. The occasional strings and synths also help create very emotionally heavy parts. Keep up the great work!

I love comments like this, thank you so so much! :)

Love how you just start with those FM instruments again! Instantly establishes a wave of nostalgia. But the actual song is also very unique and groovy. Definitely has a city after dark vibe, kind of a mix of fancy, party mood, energetic and even relaxing at the same time. I dunno how to explain, it's just a lot of stuff all at once. You keep making great stuff, so keep it coming!!

(Also is the picture yours? It's very pretty :D )

BusanBlack responds:

Thank you! Yeah I was feeling them dark vibes haha.
Also yes I drew this picture. I was attempting to draw in panels for a comic book illustration. I appreciate it. I don't draw too often as I haven't had much time for it.

Very pretty and magical, I like it :D
It has a nice start, and you also maintain a cool little fuzzy effect throughout the song that helps establish the mood. The slow introduction of more parts or instruments not only fits the style but is just well done in general. The chord progression feels nostalgic, and the mood just feels like something cozy to listen to at night on a rainy day. Great work, keep it coming!

Reddrad responds:

eyyy thanks man. first attempt to do synthwave in a hot minute so i like to hear this

I wish it was a little longer, but it definitely sounds like something that would fit right into the OG Minecraft OST! It's just one instrument and maybe a pad with some effects, yet it sounds so complete and pretty. It's a very beautiful sleepy melody and can easily make me drift off. Great work, keep it up!!
