Interesting start, I wasn't sure what to feel at the beginning but as the song kept going I liked it more and more. It's weird, and I think that's what makes it cool. The way it progresses, the chord progressions as well, the melody all just creates a really nice strange feel to it. Strangely enough it also does remind me of rain for some reason so that's pretty cool! Love what you did here, keep it up :D

Didn't expect this positive of a comment! Thank you, octopus!

A song with a beautiful melody and an amazing spaced out soundscape, I love it! The beginning already starts out emotional with just the reverb piano on its own, but as soon as the synth starts to layer before the drop you can tell the song is about to get a nice groove to it as well. It's a cool atmosphere, as setting wise it makes me think of space and just being lost out there (which makes your description perfect), and mood wise it sounds drowsy, hopeful, a little sad, and reflective. I like how the song changes over time with the melody as well. The middle part felt very nice to hear in between the two more intense parts. Amazing work, keep it coming!

I'm really glad you liked the song! If you want to support it on other platforms, it means a lot to me! :D

I think you should be proud of this, it sounds really good! I think the mix is fine, it brings out the right instruments (the glockenspiel mostly) while keeping other harmonic instruments very well audible at a good volume and at the right frequencies. The song itself sounds very magical and almost lullaby-ish. The melody is very calming and drowsy, and evolves through the whole piece into just a beautiful thing. And the end is really pretty, where it feels like everything just comes together. Great work, keep it up!

Thank you for the kind words! I was worried about the mix since it was very quiet at the time before tweaking the master volume, and i’d listened to it so many times I wasn’t sure if I was just gaslighting myself or not about it being fine, so thank you for this it was very nice to read and i’m grateful you enjoyed the song!

It's a very interesting slow build over time, with a lot of variety sprinkled around a repetitive core. It ended up sounding really good! I like all the different phases, the wide frequency of sound (especially the bass/sub frequencies), the effects, and just the general mood you create. The song really feels like something that would belong in some underwater exploration segment of a game. Also the outro is very cute. Awesome work, keep it up!

Thank you so much for your kind words. It's really humbling to get thoughtful feedback like that. I'll do my best.

You're right, it does sound good! I like how it starts off very subtly and kind of feels like you're stepping into a big empty desert. The slow layering of instruments over time is really beautifully done, and I like your use of panning as well. The fast strumming of the guitar like instrument also really fits this desert-y mood. Awesome work, keep it up!

ey thanks man this really means a lot

The song starts off right to the point, and then just carries on beautifully from there. Really reminds me of retro mall music, but this time it has a bit of a modern twist to it and speckled with a unique style. It's funky, has a very chill and relaxing atmosphere, and just generally feels good to listen to. Awesome stuff, keep it coming!

thank you!

Ooh, I really like how this song changes so much within the 3 minutes, it's really awesome! Definitely feels quest like because of all the twists and turns, and you actually managed to make the transitions surprising but not jarring. Very good use of instruments, and the dubstep parts go absolutely nuts. Awesome work, keep it up!!

Ipsiom responds:

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Was definitely going for that quest/roller coaster ride vibe with the switches and turns the song makes. :)

I like the melody, it's nice and the high energy atmosphere really amplifies it! Good choice in synths, gets dubsteppy in all the right parts, and the pacing of everything is also great. Awesome work, keep it up!

Thanks a lot for your feedback, I really appreciate it <3

This sounds like a cool, fuzzy and cozy journey through space, or a relaxing time watching the sun set at the end of the day. In general it just makes me feel really good listening to this! This song did repetition very right imo, as even though in the beginning especially the main melody was mostly the same repeating, you layered it in such a way where it wasn't distracting with all the instruments and patterns you kept adding. Doing so (while still changing the melody later) made the song have a feeling of familiarity and kind of this calm mood. The melody itself is just very beautiful, and all the different harmony changes are wonderful. Amazing work, keep it coming!!

Thank you very much for your comment! Your whole description is exactly what I was going for with this haha

Pretty intense and all over the place, I love it! The chops and beats just change over the whole course of the song, and so does the melody constantly evolve. All instruments sound super cohesive, and the way you structured everything results in a lot of rise ups and drops, and lots of surprises! Amazing work here, keep it up!!
