Very energetic and action packed build up, awesome! I like the instruments you used, especially the lower growly ones and the high screechy ones to give this industrial-ish effect. I don't know why but this also reminded me a little bit of modern sonic music (adventure/heroes) but on crack lol (in a good way). There's just so much action and heaviness in it, and it also does an amazing job at establishing atmosphere and mood. The dubstep heavy sections where the rhythm changes slightly were also great additions. Keep up the amazing work, this was awesome to listen to!!

I'm actually inspired by many sonic songs, my main inspirations from them is Hideki Naganuma and Tomoya Ohtani but I'm also inspired by artists like The Qemists and Celldewller in some aspects. I appreciate the feedback and i am glad you enjoyed it.

Edit: sorry, Typos lol

Pretty interesting groove you got going on through this song. I'm usually not a fan of trap but this is different, sounds like a slow techno-y kind of trap that also sounds like video game music at the same time. Something for a weird cave or strange atmosphere in general. Melody is unusual but in a good way, and the progression is slow which fits the mood perfectly. Great work, keep it coming :)

thanks!

Nice song! It feels like it has the mood of being awake right before the sun slowly starts to rise, but it's still dark everywhere outside. Kind of like a night time theme but a very late one. The progression is interesting, you have some interesting uses of panning, and very good selection of different synths to work together. The melody is also really nice. Just in general great work, keep it coming!

That's about the time of day I was working on this song, fittingly enough.

This sounds happy and chirpy, I like it! The melody flows very nicely and is soothing and exciting at the same time. The instruments you chose, from pads to synths, all sound amazing and work together very well. All the drops make an exciting buildup worth the wait and just boost the mood with good feelings. Great work, keep it up!!

Thank you soo much! I appreciate it :)

Definitely got a very nostalgic 80s feel to it, I love it! It sounds like something that would play in the background of a soft action scene in a movie from around that time. I love the synths you chose, and how you made everything work together. The orchestral hits are also perfect for the time period/style you were going for! Made me feel good listening to this as 80s/90s is some of my favorite music :)
Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks for the comment :)
I decided to choose synths that use short wave, kinda like wavetable synthesis, and some FM bass synths typical mid-80's for that.
Then i used classic drum machines like Linn and oberheim for drums, some other drum machines were used.
Then electric guitars and hammond organ for the harmony and solo.
I'm glad you liked it (:

On top of that, i created from scratch the orchestra hit i used here with orchestral vsts and hit samples.

Very interesting handsup song. It sounds colorful, and has a lot of different phases that verge from trance to early 2000s dance, with rave stuff in between. When the different parts combine at first around 1:40 it just sounds like pure bliss! This could fit so many moods and environments in general, while being very unique on its own. I also really love the pad intro, it was really beautiful. Hearing it come back the second time with the pluck arpeggio sounded so nice! But yeah this was just an amazing piece to listen to, keep up the amazing work!!

FlashMemory responds:

so nice to hear what you said, thank you!!@!

The intro was so smooth, it felt like the song started without me even noticing it fully! The bass is so good, it drones at a low pitch that just makes my headphones vibrate and it feels weirdly cool. The melody itself is very relaxing, calm, and mysterious, but beautiful all together. It's short but sweet! Keep up the great work :)

Thx for your response :)

Short but pretty! Interesting chord progression, it makes the song sound a little sad, happy, relieving and hopeful all at the same time. I love how the harmony also changes a little bit towards the middle of the song briefly to give it a bit more action. Keep up the great work :D

honestly, i really enjoy comments like yours, not just 2 words, but actual opinions on the song and whatnot. thanks for leaving a comment!

To me it doesn't sound off at all! There's a very good progression from start to end, with a good instrumentation choice and very well done harmony. Definitely sounds arcane/magical, a little mysterious and also adventurous. Just in general I think you did a great job with this, keep it up!!

MsFluent responds:

Thank you ❤️

Another great song! This one definitely has an adventure feeling to it, kind of like you're just about to set off on one. It reminds me of the Great Sea song from Zelda Wind Waker. I love the use of different kinds of bells, the deeper ones to sound more grand and the higher pitch ones to give it a kind of magical feeling. Great stuff, keep it coming :D

Possibly responds:

Thanks again for another kind review, I'll have to check out that Zelda track :D
