You know, for a first song ever, this isn't even half bad! You purposely went for something slow and ambient, which gives you room to experiment with chords, instrument layering, and more. I think it turned out great really. About the repetitiveness, I can tell what you tried to do; every time the main melody repeats you layer on something new, in your case mostly new drum patterns. If you want a suggestion, sometimes adding a new accompanying melody can help vary stuff up if you want to use a melody again. Or you can also write 2-3 melodies and cycle through those with the tricks you're already using! But yeah, this is a strong start to what is going to be an exciting journey. Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to see what you're gonna make next!

Thanks! Im actually working on another song and its about to be uploaded soon!

The song fits the title and description perfectly. The mood is haunting but not evil, just kind of very neutral between happy and miserable. The breakbeats make it seem like everything is going fast and time is slipping away, and just constantly putting you on edge. So the actual composition is very, very on point and sounds good.

About what you said though, I'm sorry that stuff happened to you, but I really like how you're keeping your head up! Remember that tough times never last, and I think otherwise you got a very good approach to just be patient through it.

Anyways awesome song, keep it up!!

Thank you so much, I appreciate it! I will do my best ^ ^

This sounds very nice, like the sun rising on a hazy morning! Or like an exciting start to a new day. The synths are cool and so is the vox you used, and I also like all the different phases. It sounds varied and non stagnant, with introductions of different melodic parts focused on different instruments. The mood is very hyper and bright which fits the title really well. Awesome work on this, keep it coming!!

OVERSCORE responds:

Thank you for the compliments, I hope you have an exciting day

I really enjoy the journey/evolution that this song took on from start to end. It is probably one of the most varied tracks I heard this year in general! The amount of times the harmony changed alongside the melody made this sound like one big adventure. The guitars were a great addition to the mood, and it just generally sounds happy and chill. Amazing work, keep it up!!

Cresince responds:

thank you for your kind words!

I love how beautifully the intro transitioned into the heavier segments of the song. The whole melody was beautiful in general and very floaty. The heaviness is also not overwhelming and sounds like a natural part of the song, and all the other instruments work really well together too. And lastly, the outro reflecting the intro was really nice. Great work, keep it up!!!

TeirrelMusic responds:

yeeey thank youuu <33

Goes hard, I love it :)
The progression is pretty cool, it starts soft and gets into intense sections later on. The chops are very satisfying to listen to, and the synths are very cohesive together. All the little effects you put in are also very nice to spice up the song. It all wraps up very nicely at the end too. Awesome work, keep it coming!!

INDX8 responds:

thank you so much

I think this does a great job at sounding dark, evil, suspenseful and scary. The pacing and tempo give it this looming feeling, as if something is constantly approaching that you already know is bad. The occasional effects you add (distortion, voices, high strings) give a chill to the song to keep it scary and evil sounding. And the melody changes so slightly that the mood gets maintained, but it definitely gets more and more intense over the 3 minutes. You do amazing work writing orchestral/cinematic/classical, keep up the awesome work!

Thanks so much for the review and appreciate your input - nice to hear :D

I think this is definitely really great work and you should be proud of it!
It's weird and unusual with the combination, but you still made it work very well. The first third of the song was beautiful and slower, with a great combination of instruments. The change around 1:40 was a little surprising but I warmed up to it very quickly as the tempo rose and the breakbeats kicked in. Kicking into hard style before reverting to this dramatic guitary section was a really brave decision but also worked out great, and I think you achieved your goal with this class of styles and instruments. And while this is great, I definitely think you will make many more songs just as good (if not better) in the future! Awesome work, keep it up!!

HelliXScream responds:

Thank you, mate!

I'm also really happy of how it turned out and i think i have the full right to claim it as my best track ever. Experiment is a success!

I dunno what the title means, but I really enjoy listening to this! The textures are great, they give the song a really crisp and fresh feeling. The development of the song is also really cool, as the melody sounds subtle (with most of the focus being on the percussion it feels like) but also very nice. However when it also kicks in and becomes more dominant around 1:55 it's really cool too. The whole piece sounds actiony and a little mysterious/alien, so overall the environment is pretty unique and pretty. Awesome work, keep it up!!

Cavernsparten responds:

The first part of it was from a randomly generated title maker. The rest of it was something random I came up with.

Beautiful through and through, I completely zoned out while listening to this haha
After listening to it the second time I can definitely say my favorite part is the melody; as on its own it sounds blissful. However with the string pads/sustains and the reverb it definitely fits the theme of void. The addition of drums and percussion to the melody was also very nice as it gave the song some action and character. Awesome work, keep it coming :D
