This sounds awesome! I don't really know the future rave genre but this sounds like great dance music to me. It's full of great risers and drops, and you mixed everything very well. It's loud and not intrusive on my ears at the same time. The synths you also used are really good and crisp, and the bass is amazing. Amazing work, keep it up!

Thanks

Very spooky, I think you hit the nail on the head with this atmosphere. It sounds almost calming and calling to you, but seems very off at the same time. Whenever the volume starts to subtly get louder for a few seconds it makes this kinda scary feeling that makes you want to hold your breath. It would work very well in some kind of horror film or game, to show something that is either meant to be slightly disturbed or off/uneasy. Amazing work, keep it up!

Thank you! Thank you! I am extremely grateful for your generous comment it means a lot to me.

You have given me a thing to be happy about today, especially after a long day of toil.

I'm always trying to learn even when it's difficult.

Very awesome techno dance song, I love it! It really sounds like something that came from the 2000s, and definitely has this powerful happy/amazed feeling to it. The melody makes me very jumpy and energized, and is pretty varied so it sounds fun and non stagnant. The bass really hits hard and I really love the fast segments of the melody too before the drops. Also adding piano was a really cool idea, for softer parts of the song before getting intense again. Keep up the beautiful work, this is awesome!!

Thank you very much for this detailed comment, I am very glad that you enjoyed it a lot! <3

This song has a lot of space and an amazingly constructed atmosphere, I love it! The reverb really adds to the roominess, and in combination with the clicky percussion creates a very wide sound. Your occasional use of panning is also fantastic and gives the song even further depth. The mixing is beautiful, and the bass pops along with every other instrument both melodic and percussive. And lastly, the phases flow into each other very nicely making the song sound fun and non-repetetive. Keep up the amazing work!!

Thank you very much. :)

Very beautiful song! I love how you wrote a story for it, it helps create a better picture in my head despite not knowing the characters yet. It's also very interesting how you shift the mood/energy levels very efficiently throughout the song, from more calm to things with more percussion, to sections with intense arps, etc.. I think that is very good for something cinematic that is supposed to layer with a story. But yeah great work, keep it up! :)

DanJohansen responds:

Thanks dude, yeah put a lot of effort into dynamics throughout the track, wanted it to build and build.

The intro is calm and relaxing, but the beat that kicks in after that is very unusual and cool! The percussion sounds weird in a good way and establishes a very unique flow. The whole song also feels like it's constantly pushing forward and never sitting at the same spot. The mixing is also amazing, I love hearing all the clean and crisp noises while all the other instruments still get a chance to shine. In general I think this is a very awesome one of a kind song and I love it! Keep up the amazing work :D

im-leia responds:

wow, thank you! that means so much to me to hear

This is definitely very groovy and it even sounds airy too! I really like how you decided to do the progression in this song, and the different parts where there's calm and then intensity. It kind of feels like standing on top of a very tall mountain, or climbing it. The mixing is also fantastic. Great work, keep it up!!

EVLanche responds:

Thank you so much! It means a lot to me ^ ^ Glad you enjoyed it!

Sounds like something that fits a lost jungle, or a forest at night. I really like it! The slow introduction of different instruments in the beginning was really nice, and the overall atmosphere just sounds very peaceful, yet happy and curious at the same time. I love the mixing too, everything sounds so clean and pretty. Amazing work here, keep it coming!

WildTheory responds:

That inspires me greatly, thank you very much!

Never heard slower tempo dubstep like this before, but I think you executed it perfectly! It sounds very spaced out in general, like you're either just floating through space or in a big empty place, and the melodic parts emphasize that the best. The dubsteppy/hard parts really add power and general tremor to the mood however and that gives it a unique feeling, especially at such slow speed. A pretty brave direction you went onto here, but I think it paid off! Great work, keep it up!!
