The Microsoft voice caught me off guard but the part at 1:11 made me shit myself lmao

Honestly though this song is great haha, I can totally see this being made on fumes from sleeplessness because you get that weird hyper energy at that point. I like the dancey beat and just overall feel of the song. Keep it up as always :D

wineplume responds:

yeah the sample at around 1:11 is here because i intentionally wanted to scare some people LMAO, thanks for the review

Very cute little song! It's relaxing, and feels like watching the sun either rise or set. It has a lot of articulation and flair on the instruments too, I just wish it was longer because it sounds so cool haha. Great work, keep it up!

ayy thx :'))

This definitely has city vibes, I love it! Some instruments for some reason reminded me a bit of Mario Galaxy music; maybe it was the strings you used, or some synth, but it made me feel very nostalgic and attached to the song pretty quickly haha. I like how the melody is always evolving, the fact that there's no repetition creates an image in my head as though I'm seeing different things as I walk through the space city. The intro is also great, because it feels more desolate/spacey as if I'm just about to land, so it matches the description you wrote very well. Just awesome stuff altogether, keep it up!!

Thank you so much for the kind words! :D

This is very pretty :)
I love how a lot of instruments are either cut off or "muted", especially the piano. It gives the song a much lighter atmosphere and kinda makes you relax. Even though the main motif might have been repeated throughout the song, layering different varying percussive and occasionally melodic elements over it kept the track interesting throughout. Besides, I feel like in this case the repetition helps instill familiarity with the listener, further boosting the calmness feeling. Great work here, keep it coming!

Thank you so much bro! That means a lot to me how thorough this review is. One of my goals is to have 100 songs by the end of the year, so you know I will ;)

I don't hear much songs without any percussion that aren't classical, but this one was very unusually interesting. The feeling it gave me was kind of just being lost in space, slowly floating away from the space ship. Not necessarily sad, but thoughtful and maybe a little melancholy, yet beautiful at the same time. By using so little instruments but giving them beautiful melodies, you kind of create this one of a kind, magical atmosphere that is unique to your song. Experimenting with stuff in music is almost always rewarding haha. Great work, keep it up!

The synths are very new stuff that I've never touched so I'm very glad you enjoyed it!

This is so awesome, it reminds me of the music on NG from late 2000s early 2010s, yet very unique on its own! The melody is fun, the piano is beautiful (I love piano in trance/dance in general), the percussion delivers a great kick of energy, and the saw is fun and playful. Altogether you end up with a very happy and warm track! Amazing stuff as usual, keep up the great work!!

Thank you so much for this amazing review!!

You definitely did a good job at making this song sound intense; it feels like a riser/lifter that doesn't stop and just gets greater and greater! I like all the fun arps you put in, and the funky lead that is part of the melody. As for the bass, it is perfect and crunchy, acid like maybe, which helps increase anticipation. The ending is even great too for the atmosphere you went for! So great work, keep it up :)

Oh wow ^^

It is an awesome feeling reading this
Thank you so much

This sounds like a great fusion of a bunch of stuff! I think aiming to fit a standard by default isn't the way to go anyways haha, because this ended up sounding fresh and funky the way you made it :)

The progression is really fun, it feels like it varies up and is unexpected in a good way. Each instrument has its time to shine and add character to the overall piece, and the melody is fun and playful. Great work altogether, keep it coming!!

AndrewCr responds:

Thanks, glad you like the song :)

This was really cool! It was kind of like a dramatic orchestral chip song :D
I love it when people make realistic x chiptune crossovers for music, it usually ends up sounding nice but this especially sounded great. The strings were great at emphasizing the drama, and the different chiptune instruments gave a great energetic and exciting kick. Great stuff as always, keep it up!!

Belastet responds:

Thank you so much!!!!

This really represents the whole void theme, I think you nailed it! The progression building up and leading into a "softer" type drop with a new part to the melody is perfect for what you were trying to depict, and the longer style of pacing definitely also helps. It's also very rewarding when more stuff finally kicks in around the 2:22 mark (especially that sax, man its cool!). The ending is also perfect after all the song has done. Awesome work, keep it coming!!

RedCocoa responds:

Thank you very much, glad the void theme thing seems to work as well as I hoped it would. More is coming :D
