Ooh another amazing track, I think I like this one even more! It feels so beautiful to listen to, makes me think of a tropical ocean at night. Something about the instruments feels very fitting for water, maybe especially because of the way you articulated them. I also dunno why but this makes me think of Mario Galaxy a bit with the style haha. The melody itself is also amazing, it feels like it calms me and just makes me feel so warm and happy. You did an absolutely beautiful job here, keep it coming!

smolrock responds:

Yo thanks so much! Appreciate it a ton

This song is interesting, it feels like a constant soft buildup and the progression feels like it's going through a maze until the bells/mallets kick in, I really like it! It maybe starts off with a slight melancholic vibe, but turns happier as the song goes on I feel, which is really nice considering the title. Very beautiful composition, great work and keep it up!

Lakmest responds:

Thanks!

This is such a nicely mixed and energetic track, I love it! You definitely managed to make it feel very dancey, and the instruments you used and the way you articulated them were perfect. The progression was very interesting and rapidly changing, but not jarring, which made this song very exciting and fun to listen to. The atmosphere is also so fresh and fancy it's awesome all around. Amazing work, keep it up!

vansko-mp3 responds:

wow, thanks a lot man, I really really appreciate it <3

Interesting flow here! I like how it begins completely without percussion, but then it fades in and climaxes around the middle of the track. The melody you start and end with feels spacious and mysterious, so far away is a fitting title. Great work once again, keep it up!

Thank you for the review my good sir!

I like the atmosphere of this song! It starts off light, and then gets more intense suddenly. The name and the feel of the song make me imagine staring at a room with blank walls until imagination kicks in and makes you see much more or something, idk if that was the intention haha. But either way, the instruments are not only perfectly picked, but are amazingly articulated. I love how much variety there is, and how the progression makes the whole song feel like an adventure from the start to the finish. Absolutely beautiful, keep up the great work!!

trevor8 responds:

haha; there's no wrong way to look at it!
thank you so much!

This was a fun song to listen to! I liked a lot of parts about it, but my favorite was the less percussion heavy part in the middle, due to the lead. I found it cool how it sounded like it kept changing timbre throughout the melody. In general a lot of instruments you used here were great honestly, and the melody was really nice. Great work, keep it up!

NeonLabs responds:

thank youu I'm pretty happy with how the calmer section ended up, I sampled windows sounds in it

Very powerful! I love the intensity of the track; I was also worried it would be repetitive but it kept building upon itself as it went on. The melodies you used also really help with the action vibe, as do the instruments. Feels like something that would fit perfect in either a racing game, or some deep space base level in an action game. Also what I like is that the genre feels like a mix between trance and metal which is super neat. Amazing work, keep it coming!

LaReverie responds:

I'm glad you like it, thanks a lot!

This sounds so good! I love the compression on this a bunch, it really amplifies nostalgic feelings and gives the whole song a nice crisp. The melody is also so beautiful, and the instruments you chose to articulate it are amazing. Just such a wonderful song, evokes such pretty emotions, and the title definitely fits haha. Amazing work, keep it up!!!

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. I kinda just found the song lying around, re-listened to it and wondered why I never posted it.

This has such a great feel good vibe to it! It definitely feels like a fall song (for some reason, maybe the progression? I have no clue) but also feels like mall music at the same time. It feels nostalgic, but also feels fresh, and honestly I think that's a great mix. The melody itself is so beautiful, and the percussion added onto it is perfect and really ties everything together. Another awesome track, keep up the amazing work!!

Thank you for the amazing and thorough review. Fall is my favorite time for making music. The weather is such an inspiration plus I have a lot of influence from the old school music I heard growing up so I tend to bring that out more when the weather changes. Winter is ever better since I get to warm up some hot cocoa or coffee/tea and just stay inside while it snows and work without worry of having plans or appointments.

For some reason almost instantly, I felt like this song would fit right in to Animal Crossing as part of the official soundtrack... the way the percussion is arranged, the breaks in the melody, the pace, all of that. I don't know if that was the intention, but it's crazy how well it would fit I think! Either way it would definitely sound great in a game, and not necessarily too scary but like "cutesy scary" if you know what I mean haha. The instruments you picked out are great, and I really love the mixing, especially how prominent the bass is without interfering with anything else. Amazing work, keep it up!
