Astral Observatory has to be one of my favorite, if not my most favorite tracks from Majoras Mask or Zelda as a whole. Saying this, I really love this cover! I love the beat you added, it is in tune with the already calm nature of the original. The instruments are also great, and sound more than just HQ versions of the original ones as you even switch them up here and there. Great work overall, keep it up!

Thank you so much for the kind words, I checked out some of your songs and I'm extremely impressed with the quality your songs have as well

What a relaxing and pretty song! I really love how versatile the melody gets here, and the bit crushing just feels so nice to listen to. It also feels very mood lifting, happy and just relaxing. This would work very well in a video game for some nice little seaside town or something, like in Pokemon or something haha. Great work, keep it up!!!

CrowGoblin responds:

I am glad you enjoyed, thanks for listening!

I love the feel of this, its very cinematic but also very happy! Definitely fits the whole christmas music atmosphere, but with interesting harder hits (in an emotional/good way) than usual. The percussion was a great choice with the jingle bells and everything, and the bells also really helped add to the atmosphere too. Great work, keep it up!!

MaxKoMusic responds:

Thank you!

Beautiful, cinematic, and orchestral, I really like it! It definitely had a mighty chilliness to it, especially in the beginning with the pad/bell intro, so the title is really fitting. I also really like how you incorporated synth elements, made the song sound more fantasy-y. Percussion was also very well picked out and orchestrated. Amazing work, keep it up :D

crispybatteryacid responds:

Thank you kindly!

Dark and dancey, nice! I love the square lead, it was a great choice along side that crunchy dark and low bass. The atmosphere is also really nightclub-y with an action element to it. It's both danceable but also would work great in some dark action game or something haha. Keep up the great work!

Dead-Again responds:

Thank you so much

This sounds fun! I know it's good because even though I don't know how to describe mushy, it sounds very mushy haha. I love the synths you used, and the percussion was a great pick. Sounds like something that would be really fun to listen to on a car ride or just a long road trip. Great stuff, keep it up :D

Lalalo14 responds:

Haha yeah mushy is something you just feel. Can't describe it. Thanks alot man!

It's not easy to make a small melody catchy and varied throughout a track, but you did an awesome job! The track's atmosphere feels fancy but also light at the same time which I feel is a rare combo, and I feel it might be because of the contrast of the darker/deep bass compared to the brighter pluck for the melody; it's really cool! I also felt the song was pretty catchy so that's always a big plus haha. Awesome work, keep it up!

Thanks. It is crazy that it only took me 2 hours. I made this start to finish in front of someone who went to a recording arts school and it blew her mind. I did a bunch of creative processing that they just don’t teach in school and she said it was like watching a magic trick.

This sounded great! It was moody and dark, but it was also definitely very dancey and had great energy to it. It definitely had that "epic" atmosphere you were going for (the reverb really helped and so did the percussion) but it still felt like it had a lot of great dance elements to it. The mix was also very crisp and vibrant, it felt so nice on the ears. Love this track, keep it up!!

Jakki responds:

Thank u so much

This sounds dark and intense, I like it! I think you did a really good job with the mixing, because each instrument stands out in the right way. I can hear the drums very well and clear, while I can also hear that bell/melody sound stand out as well, and the pads blend in perfectly. Great work on this, keep it up!!

SamuraiOwl responds:

thank youuuu!! x)

This sounds like really pretty end of day/sunset music, it makes me think of a harbor of some calm city at dawn. It also sounds a bit like Pokemon music to me for some reason haha. Instrument selection in this was really nice as all the instruments complimented each other, and the slow down around 2:45 was also really cool. Great work, keep it up!!

anzky responds:

thank you!
