The intro is calm and relaxing, but the beat that kicks in after that is very unusual and cool! The percussion sounds weird in a good way and establishes a very unique flow. The whole song also feels like it's constantly pushing forward and never sitting at the same spot. The mixing is also amazing, I love hearing all the clean and crisp noises while all the other instruments still get a chance to shine. In general I think this is a very awesome one of a kind song and I love it! Keep up the amazing work :D

wow, thank you! that means so much to me to hear

This is definitely very groovy and it even sounds airy too! I really like how you decided to do the progression in this song, and the different parts where there's calm and then intensity. It kind of feels like standing on top of a very tall mountain, or climbing it. The mixing is also fantastic. Great work, keep it up!!

EVLanche responds:

Thank you so much! It means a lot to me ^ ^ Glad you enjoyed it!

Sounds like something that fits a lost jungle, or a forest at night. I really like it! The slow introduction of different instruments in the beginning was really nice, and the overall atmosphere just sounds very peaceful, yet happy and curious at the same time. I love the mixing too, everything sounds so clean and pretty. Amazing work here, keep it coming!

WildTheory responds:

That inspires me greatly, thank you very much!

Never heard slower tempo dubstep like this before, but I think you executed it perfectly! It sounds very spaced out in general, like you're either just floating through space or in a big empty place, and the melodic parts emphasize that the best. The dubsteppy/hard parts really add power and general tremor to the mood however and that gives it a unique feeling, especially at such slow speed. A pretty brave direction you went onto here, but I think it paid off! Great work, keep it up!!

Thank youuuuuuu!!!! ^^

This sounds like either a medieval villainous theme, or a dark sad theme. Just generally very interesting instrumentation, beautiful melody, and great variation. I really like all the different parts of this song as they all flow into each other perfectly and really do a good job at illustrating a mood. The ending is also very climactic and tugs at the heart. Amazing work, keep it up!

thank you so much!

Short but very good in it's own! Can easily fit into an action sequence for a game. The percussion was very crisp and throughout the 28 seconds the song changes phases 3 times! You definitely made it feel very intense and fast which is also perfect. Keep up the great work :D

NitroOrient responds:

Thanks for the review my guy!

I can definitely hear the inspiration, but it still sounds very original and beautiful in it's own way! I like the build up leading into an intense section immediately, and I like the melody throughout the song. The variation helps the song stay interesting and not stagnate. Great work, keep it coming!

Supermouk responds:

Thank you!

Really interesting start, and it's also interesting to hear where it goes with time. It kind of sounds like towards the middle of the song there's a howling instrument, but strangely it is still relaxing and calm. The pads and percussion were beautiful, and helped make this kind of wide beautiful atmosphere as well. Just a very interesting song! Keep up the great work :D

LoneConstruct responds:

Thank you! This was an interesting song because I made the entire thing with a single synth (Arturia Pigments) patch! In the synth I had the sampler layer playing the looping 'percussive' sound that changes with pitch, and the 'howling instrument' is actually from a distorted resonant filter being ran in parallel on the mixer channel. I then automated the cutoff of the filter in a way that kept it in key with the song. All of it was being ran through some delay and reverb as well as more distortion to glue it together.

This sounds so happy and vibrant! Definitely fits a city, maybe for like sunset time. It also reminds me of older pokemon games for some reason. I love the different parts you have as they come together very nice and there is just so much variation. The funkiness of it is also def a big plus. Amazing work, keep it up!!

wobwobrob responds:

The game is set in a city so this is a pleasing comment! Thank you!
