This was a great happy and uplifting electro song, I like it! You used some great wobbles and gates, and the instruments you picked were also really fitting for the overall atmosphere. Progression also felt like classic EDM style, which made the song feel a little nostalgic too haha. Great work, keep it coming :)

For some reason almost instantly, I felt like this song would fit right in to Animal Crossing as part of the official soundtrack... the way the percussion is arranged, the breaks in the melody, the pace, all of that. I don't know if that was the intention, but it's crazy how well it would fit I think! Either way it would definitely sound great in a game, and not necessarily too scary but like "cutesy scary" if you know what I mean haha. The instruments you picked out are great, and I really love the mixing, especially how prominent the bass is without interfering with anything else. Amazing work, keep it up!

What a lovely comment, thanks so much!

This is so cool, it sounds like ethnic mixed with dance and I love it! The instruments you used really fit both genres, the kalimba was a great choice for the ethnic and the leads were great for funky dance elements. The percussion you picked was also perfect for what this was. As for the progression, it was great, because you somehow managed to capture this feeling of perpetually awaiting a drop and keeping it exciting. Amazing work, keep it up!

Midnights-Ocean responds:

Wow! It's a crazy mix of styles that I wasn't sure anyone other than myself would like. Thanks so much for the comment and 5! <:D

Very interesting! I like the rattling that could be heard in the beginning, it added to the ghostly feel. And the piano that started at 0:40 with a weird melody and slightly off tune added even more to this! And a lot of the instruments add to either a dark or ghostly feel in general. Would definitely fit well in a ghost-y train station or something in a video game so title is very fitting too. Great work, keep it up :D

fr0gpr0 responds:

Ey thanks octopus! it makes me happy that the vibes of the sound has reached you!

This song has interesting structure; I like how you start from one melody but every time it repeats/cycles you add another layer. It's simple but it works very nicely in this song, makes it feel calm and zone-outy. Instrument choice was great too, and even though I found the drum pattern weird at first in this song I think it grew on me throughout! Great work, keep it up :D

Very nice ambient track! When the drop happens, everything feels both so pretty and also sleepy, which is fitting for a track called Night. I wish it was a little longer haha but I really love what you have here, keep up the good work!

whymsical responds:

thanks!

I think you definitely got the feeling down! It does sound uncanny, but also just energetic and fun. I even think it'd fit in a video game, during some kind of spooky action sequence! Great work, keep it up :D

Orenge1 responds:

Glad you like it! :D

Yeah that was actually precisely my goal. To make it uncanny but still listenable. And the action sequence is exactly what I thought of too. Great to see that you think it worked out! :)

Great cinematic song! The drop around 1:12 was pretty cool with the clappy percussion and stuff following after. It sounds like music that would play in some kind of mountainous jungley place maybe, so the picture you put in the description feels like a good pick haha. I love all the changes throughout the progression too, it makes the song sound more like a journey instead of anything cyclic. Great work, keep it up!

PixxlMan responds:

Thanks!

Oooh the drop was really nice! The intro leading up to it was great, but the drop itself definitely has this weird hacky/comp music vibe so it fits great. I love how crisp everything sounds too, and all the chirps and glitchy noises are awesome. Great work, keep it up!!
