Short but very good in it's own! Can easily fit into an action sequence for a game. The percussion was very crisp and throughout the 28 seconds the song changes phases 3 times! You definitely made it feel very intense and fast which is also perfect. Keep up the great work :D

Thanks for the review my guy!

Let' gooo!!!! This sounds just like early 2000s techno trance and I absolutely love it. Almost like something people would make ringtones out of at the time lol. I love how you get straight to the meat of the song and have so much amazing stuff. The part that kicks in at around 0:48 is also so sick, I love the introduction of chiptuney instruments as it only adds. And the break at 1:15 with pads gives nice release of tension before it gets intense again. Definitely made me very happy listening to this today, it's completely beautiful and very enjoyable from beginning to end. Keep up the amazing work!!

Sounds like early 2000's techno, I like it :)
You did a good job at varying up your sections and making them all sound interesting while flowing into each other. The bass is also really good, and the part that get's all chiptuney at 1:25 is awesome. Outro was also well done. Great work, keep it coming!

I can definitely hear the inspiration, but it still sounds very original and beautiful in it's own way! I like the build up leading into an intense section immediately, and I like the melody throughout the song. The variation helps the song stay interesting and not stagnate. Great work, keep it coming!

Thank you!

Really interesting start, and it's also interesting to hear where it goes with time. It kind of sounds like towards the middle of the song there's a howling instrument, but strangely it is still relaxing and calm. The pads and percussion were beautiful, and helped make this kind of wide beautiful atmosphere as well. Just a very interesting song! Keep up the great work :D

Thank you! This was an interesting song because I made the entire thing with a single synth (Arturia Pigments) patch! In the synth I had the sampler layer playing the looping 'percussive' sound that changes with pitch, and the 'howling instrument' is actually from a distorted resonant filter being ran in parallel on the mixer channel. I then automated the cutoff of the filter in a way that kept it in key with the song. All of it was being ran through some delay and reverb as well as more distortion to glue it together.

I like all the little fast parts, they are cool :D
I also really enjoyed the different transitions with the chord progressions, as it starts off sounding more mysterious and a little sad but it gets into something happier as it goes on. The actual playing of the guitar is also very beautiful. Great performance and great song, keep up the awesome work!

This sounds so happy and vibrant! Definitely fits a city, maybe for like sunset time. It also reminds me of older pokemon games for some reason. I love the different parts you have as they come together very nice and there is just so much variation. The funkiness of it is also def a big plus. Amazing work, keep it up!!

wobwobrob responds:

The game is set in a city so this is a pleasing comment! Thank you!

This felt very nice and chill, I like it :)
The phases were really interesting and kept the song from getting stagnant, and the combination of more modern instruments with 8 bit was nice. I like the FM sounds like the bells, and the way you used the 8 bit percussion. Great work, keep it up!

Thanks for the support and your feedback! I appretiate it a lot!

Very nice 50th song, congrats! I liked the attempt to mesh five different styles into one, everything seemed to flow together well so I think it worked haha. The main melody was really nice, and building variations off of it was a good idea. Great work once again, keep it up!

I like how it gets creepier the longer the song goes on, I feel that's what really gives it its truly ominous feel. It has a very pretty start that sounds a little happy but just slowly deteriorates the further it goes on. The instrumentation is also beautiful, and so are the transitions between the phases of the song. Ending on just noise was a great idea too to make it more scary. Amazing work, keep it up!!
