This sounds really sweet and happy, I like it :D
Something with a good punch of energy, but also relaxing and happy. I love how despite the chord progression repeating throughout the song, it keeps varying up with other segments and keeps the song interesting. The atmosphere is also very end of the day-y, or sunsety lol. Great work, keep it up :)

thank you! fun fact i made this chord progression almost 2 years ago now, and i opened the project while i was surfing through old stuff and i found it and turned it into this!

This is a really fun chiptune! I like all the variation in the melody, and how it sounds intense and adventurous. I also like that you used many different waveforms to give the impression of many different instruments. Great work, keep it up!!

Woah that initial drop caught me by surprise, going from something so relaxing and beautiful to something more energetic was a daring yet beautiful choice! I love the beautiful melody you established in the beginning, and how the energetic percussion and the chord stabs stacked over it. The chord progression made this sound nostalgic, calming yet a little tense at the same time. It's also a really emotional progression but idk how to explain it right, but all I can say is I got goosebumps haha. Amazing work, keep it up!!

I almost listened to it more than twice, I started zoning out from how nice it felt to listen to this... It's very beautiful that's for sure! I love all the accents over the guitar, like the reverbed saxophone and the flute. The percussion has such nice compression on it, it kind of stands out but doesn't block anything either which is perfect. Amazing work, keep it up!

That was so beautiful and angelic, I love it! The atmosphere feels like it can be interpreted in different ways, like a magical adventure, or a peaceful fantasy forest village, or a magical lakeshore, etc.. I think in common the song just feels like it has a lot of magic in it :)
The orchestration is perfect, the varied dynamics are great, and you do a great job at building tension and making satisfying wind downs. Amazing work, keep it up!!!

Interesting flow here, I like it! Definitely good mixing, especially for the bass and percussion. There's a ton of energy but great melodic segments, and more than enough variation to keep the song interesting! This would be so cool to see in an action sequence or something in a game haha. Great work, keep it up!

For some reason, this reminded me of part of the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack, especially in the beginning haha. This sounds really good though! Could definitely see it in some kind of 80s action movie or something similar. The guitar that kicks in a little after halfway is also so cool and played so realistically :D
Definitely one of my favorites that I've heard from you, keep up the awesome work as always!!

edit (response): Of course it doesn't matter that it's programmed haha, its all about how it sounds!

GuitARBEn responds:

I'm glad you like my song that much! But none of these instruments are played with a midi keyboard or something, it's all just programmed. I hope that doesn't matter.

Definitely better extended! The atmosphere you built up has a longer chance to linger :D
Keep it up!

So pretty, sounds like beach chill music which is one of my favorite atmospheres :D
I can totally imagine something like this playing during sunset at one of those beachside cafes on the Mediterranean or something. It's funny because the lyrics are sad, but the melody sounds so uplifting and lovey. But for real the atmosphere you created is great, and this is sick all around, great work and keep it up!!

Thanks a lot for this detailed review and the good rating! I really like the depiction you made of the ambiance!

This is a really interesting take on synthwave I think, due to many factors. The tempo is on the quicker side with a very cutting lead, which makes it exciting and dynamic. The chord progression is also unusual, and constantly descending, making this song sound like you're constantly going deeper/downwards into something, like falling through the sky or something similar. You also have some interesting instruments and segments, like those bells that are constantly alternating in some parts of the song (like towards the end). I can't help but wonder what the six minute version would've sounded like... but this is already very cool! Great work and keep it up :D
