Another nice song! This one had a really nice climax, when all the instruments came together. It sounds beautiful, and rewarding after the buildup, which is very nice to hear in cinematic music. Great work once again, keep it up :D

The song already sounded pretty leading up to the drop, but as soon as the drop happened, this magical and chill atmosphere just kicked in full force. I love the mixing in this, it's very clean, and the instruments you chose feel like they massage the brain haha. I just wish it was longer! Great work, keep it up :D

Thank you much for the kind words! ❤️ means alot!! (It's just a snippet, so the full song will be out soon!)

Interesting flow, I took some time to zone out and listen to the whole track. I like how many times it changes, yet through the transitions the song still sounds as part of one big thing. That's not easy to do I feel so I already feel you did a really good job on that front, and I also think you did a good job at establishing a surreal, dreamy atmosphere as well. The mixing was also good, and I enjoyed the instruments you used throughout. Very nice and interesting work, keep it up!

Interesting track! It's really long, but it feels like you can zone out to it or work to it, which I think is pretty cool. It would fit perfectly in a game, especially given the setting you described in your description. Somehow it does sound like it would also fit a garden, just a futuristic one, which is also cool as I feel you hit that nail on the head! You used a lot of interesting instruments and strayed away from being too repetitive by putting alternate variations of melodies or just different melodies in general here and there. Great work overall, keep it up!

AcidHydra101 responds:

thank you! i really appreciate this critique :]
also, regarding the song length, it's a feature, not a mistake - i had to talk myself out of making it even longer!
(which is especially funny given that I have a *20 minute song* waiting for my cover art in the pipeline)

What an absolutely beautiful mix of piano with a rock beat! The piano I felt was already so beautiful and emotional, but the rock parts really brought out the emotions even further with climactic guitars and percussion. The piano itself is also very well articulated and draws out a lot of feelings. Also love the dance part towards the end, its a great way to end the song! Amazing work, keep it up :)

This track has a very interesting flow, I see how it would be perfect for a rhythm game haha. The progression keeps taking this song to new places with completely different beats and feels throughout, which makes this song really unique in my opinion. The mixing was also really crisp as even when it would get very loud, nothing would sound distorted, which probably wasn't easy to do. The percussive noises you use, the bass, and just so much of the instruments sound like a whole experience for the ears I don't know how to even explain this haha. The amount of fun and crazy turns in this song is just awesome. Absolutely beautiful work, keep it up!!!

Thanks for the kind word! It's not often that people notice anything related to the mixing!

This is so beautiful, I love it! Amazingly orchestrated, and just so cool how much you built on just a piano. My favorite was your use of woodwinds, it was really pretty and emotional. My only nitpick is that sometimes I heard crackling at loud points (probably a mixing thing) but otherwise it was very magical and I just loved it a bunch! Keep up the great work as always :D

TheReaperPepper responds:

I tried my best to get rid of the crackling, I couldn't really find the source so eventually I just gave up.

Aw yeah happy hardcore so sick
The intro was really pretty but I wasn't expecting the hardcore part at all, it was a fun surprise haha. I like how with such a little amount of instruments you made such a bouncy and happy sounding song. Keep up the awesome work as always!

wineplume responds:

much much many many thanks. i like adding breaks and offbeat bass where it, in my opinion, works

Ooh, this sounds very 80s, I like it! The instrument profile fits perfectly (DX7 and OB) and you even had a cool intro before it went into the more heavier territory. It sounds really fitting for an 80s themed game as everything about this sounds like it came out of an old sci-fi. You also have some great grand pads that give this feeling of mightyness and maybe even soaring. Amazing work here, keep it up :D

JustDen responds:

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I love 80's music as synths of this era

Holy what was that intro? Immediately got hooked! This song sounds so dancey and bouncy, I love it! I love the instruments, they are all mixed super well so you get to hear them very clearly, and the bass is just pumping and the drums are perfect too. And that piano solo in the middle was a cool break from all the happy chaos that happened prior before the melody switches again and becomes hyper once more. Absolutely amazing track, very uplifting, keep it up!!
