I think this has a really cool atmosphere! It definitely feels like something meant to be nostalgic and dreamy, which really fits the description you wrote too. Kind of feels like being lost in a hazy dream, and it's not scary but it's not happy, it's just explorative kinda. Really interesting mixing choice too, everything sounds loud but also somehow works together! There's a ton of really beautiful synthscapey stuff going on here in general. Awesome work, keep it up :D

Greyvoice responds:

Thanks! The "loudness" of it all is basically me just experimenting with sub groups and various layers of sidechaining to teach myself how to do that dense "Solar Ash Kingdom" type of ambient soundtrack type of thing. Really loved how soupy it could all sound but you could still point out certain tracks point of origin in the mess

I like how much of the instruments in this feel like each note gently comes in, it adds so much to the atmosphere. I just woke up but this makes me want to go back to sleep haha (in a good way, it's so calm!). I like how although slowly, the song keeps going somewhere, keeping things interesting. I feel like this would fit really nicely in a sandbox game or just some relaxing game in general. Keep up the good work :)

Marscael responds:

Yes it's a very cozy song isn't it. Im happy you enjoyed it.

Damn what is this, it sounds amazing! This is definitely some insane boss fight energy, or just something that would fit super well in a fighting game. I love the beginning and how it introduces this mighty theme, and then goes absolutely crazy with percussion and everything at once. The lead you picked was awesome, and the guitars were just sick. Beautiful from beginning to end, keep up the beautiful work!!!

Short but really cool atmosphere to it! Has the same atmosphere as older mall music, just relaxed and pretty. Very good mixing and just cool composition altogether. Awesome stuff, keep it up :D

Thank you so much, Michael!

This had a really nice build up and a very emotional climax, very cool! I love how you managed to create so much anticipation and the drop just felt really good when it finally came. The instruments also worked very well together here. Great work, keep it up!

WhirlMusic responds:

thank you my man!!

I did not expect what happened at 0:42, super cool! It started out really nice, and then it went into this fun chaotic energy so that was a great twist. The mixing is great, everything pops out all the instruments stand out amongst each other. The progression is also fun which matches the atmosphere of the song, just everything sounds great haha. Great work, keep it up!!

avoset responds:

thank you so much!!! hearing stuff like that motivates me a lot :D

Very loungy song, I can see this playing at a nice beachside bar after sunset :)
The atmosphere feels very house-y, chill and also curious. The progression is pretty varied for a house track which I really like, it feels like it never gets boring. The instruments you picked are also a mix of moody and fun, which gives the track a unique character! Awesome work, keep it up :D

QWAZDYN responds:

thank you! really appreciate that! the progression actually never changes just filter knobs really

So much variation going on, I like it! It feels genuine to what chiptune could've been at the time so you definitely stuck close to the style you were going for, but it still sounds new and fresh. The melody is great, it feels like something that would keep you moving during a more higher intensity level in a game. Just overall very neat, keep it up!

This sounds like an intense boss fight, awesome! I love boss music haha
The progression is crazy, and always keeping interest as it changes every time. The percussion getting intense is also a cool decision as it really emphasizes the boss battle energy. The harp break was also cool before it gets intense again. Great work, keep it up!

Oooh another great song! This one sounded really mighty, and I think you definitely nailed what you were going for. Kind of sounds like you're either about to go explore something dangerous, or go into a grand battle. The strings were perfect and what I often feel is key in cinematic music like this, and the progression was perfect too. I feel like this could fit so well with an actual trailer of some sort. Once again keep up the great work!
