This is pretty! I love the kind of somewhat dark-ish atmosphere that has a curious and action mood to it. The integration of chiptune into synthwave is also always a great combo when done right, and you definitely nailed it! Great work, keep it up :)

This is so beautiful, kind hearted and just sweet :)
Feels like something that could fit amazingly in a romantic ending scene of a movie or something, the production quality is just legit so high up there! It's very touching and has beautiful transitions, and an amazing usage of all the instruments. And I can't tell but did you fit an oboe or something at the end there? It sounded really cool!

Also the beginning reminds me a bit of a song by Edward Elgar called Salut d'Amour (Op. 12) which is a classical song from the romantic period lol. Not sure if intentional but still awesome. Keep up the amazing work as always!!

ZaazNG responds:

Thank you so much! This one is definitely a personal favorite of mine, and yes, that is an oboe in the end :)
Speaking of the beginning, you hit it right on the head haha, this whole tune was inspired by both Elgar's pieces Salut D'amour and Chanson De Matin :)
Sir. Edward Elgar is my favorite composer of all time, his music is just so powerful and moving to me, you'll constantly finding me getting "inspired" by his work all the time ;)

Woah this is amazing! I absolutely love it :D
Very happy and pretty intro leads into a hard and amazing melody. It sounds like something that represents a cross between music for space, or music for green flowery fields. The harmony is great and all the instruments you chose just work so well together. Keep up the absolutely amazing work, this is so good!!!

cosmochild responds:

How nicely you described that! Thank you :3

Very awesome melody, I can see why it took you a while to make this! It sounds awesome and very impactful, with so many cool twists and turns. There's even a great adventurous and exciting feel to it too! I hope this made Wendy really happy because it is just beautiful all around. Great work, keep it up!!

I agree what Niko said, it does sound like something you'd hear while casually shopping haha. Definitely gives off a mall vibe too with an 80s feel and a bit on the mysterious side too. I love the progression, the soothing sounds, and some of the retro sample/midi type instruments like the metal guitar you had around 2:10. Really cool once again, keep it up :D

Like a shopping montage going around trying on various "80s" outfits with your bestie and walking out with both hands full of store bags.

This is nice! It kind of sounds like Zelda 64 instruments for some kind of shop theme. I guess if there was a burger shop or something in OoT or Majora's Mask it would sound something like this lol. But it's very nice and simple, mysterious and curious. I like it! Great job, keep it up :)

I love the hard melody on this, it sounds great! Very impactful melodies and sound, full of harmony and bass. I like the warbles and other different effects you put in here as it sounds perfect for something dubstep-y. The brief chill period in the middle of the song before it gets crazy again is also a great touch. Awesome stuff, keep it up!

Woww, thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear you like it!! I really appreciate you taking the time to write this, it absolutely made my day, thank you!! :)

Ooh I love the major chord progressions here, it sounds so nice! The instruments you choice were pretty good for a "spaced out" kinda song, and the melody is strange and mysterious yet happy at the same time. Nothing stagnated and felt repetitive, but rather constantly evolving. The vocal chops at 1:50 were really cool too! Keep up the great work :)

Very interesting pattern you got here! I like how the song basically swells throughout the duration of 3 whole minutes progressively raising the intensity and the dynamics. The textures are also very beautiful and help create a unique and magical feeling. And I like how the more the song swells, the more notes you start to hear in the harmony. The climax is a little scary but I'm assuming that's the point haha. Great work, keep it up!

ax1tl responds:

yep! the climax is supossed to represent a large structure that looms over you
thanks for the feedback!

Mysterious, somber and dark, a combination I haven't listened to in a while. But nevertheless the piece sounds very good and depicts a very clear mood! I like the plucks you used for the melody, and the different harmony instruments that layered alongside it. The intro and outro really help carry the most filling part of the song. Beautiful work, keep it up :D
