The sounds and melody structure is definitely complex and doesn't follow a "pattern", yet it still very efficiently carries you into the flow and mood. It's interesting, it sounds kind of hollow but also spacious at the same time. Airy but also underwater like simultaneously as well. It's disorienting but in a good way, you don't know what to expect and creates a very mysterious and hazy atmosphere. Great work, keep it coming!!

Thank you for your generous 5 stars and your lovely words. :)
I really tried something different this time and didn't expect it to be this well received.

Very smooth, soft and relaxing :)
The downsampling definitely helped make it seem nostalgic. While listening to this I just imagined a bright empty mall like building that seemed to slowly fade into sunny field type of stuff. The melody just kinda flows through, feels like it could never end even if it just kept going and slowly shifting like it did through these two minutes. Unusual but very nice, keep up the great work!!

Robo2k responds:

Thanks dawg glad you enjoyed it

What a nice happy track :D
I love how spacious you made it feel, especially in the sections with more reverb. The actual melody seems really curious and playful too. The choice of instruments you made fit very well together and just compliment each other instead of creating contrast. Great work, keep it up!!

snakez responds:

Thank you so much!

Damn this is so groovy and sick, I love it! It sounds like a mellow lounge song with a beat and a strong 80s influence. It's very danceable but also something you can just zone out to. The game you're helping with is super lucky to get such a sick tune. Keep up the awesome work!!!

dimwiddy responds:

That is one of the most detailed and nicest comments I've ever gotten. Thank you...

This really reminds me of tracker music, and definitely with a twist of cool skateboarding music too, so really nice! I love how you maintain the hyped out feeling throughout while going through different melodies and phases. The outro is also very well done to kinda "cool down" the song. Great work again, keep it up :D

BusanBlack responds:

Thanks. I tried to keep the energy up but I felt like as I was going through I kept forgetting what melody I wanted to stick with. I felt a bit confuzzled. But I want to work on this one and probably get another skater rock song with some more of the old school feels.

Holy shit this is pure bliss, I love it so much!!!!
While I hear a lot of early 2000s style in here (all the ones you mentioned and maybe stuff like Basshunter and DJ Splash etc.) it's still original in it's own beautiful and majestic way. You completely and flat out nailed the style you were trying to go for to like every little detail, and created something that sounds completely new anyways. Beautiful progression, melody and harmony, and basically literally everything. And to end it off you fade out with a beautiful little outro. I ran out of words to say but I have so much love for this still haha, just keep up the amazing work!!!

Preds responds:

aww thank you so much!

This sounds really cool! Kind of gives me the strange thought of a jungle in a city late at night. The combination of more urban/hip hop instruments like the drums you used with synthetic textures, pads and chiptune like stuff creates a very unique and pretty environment. And I also really like how your song is constantly on the move! Keeps shifting without really staying at one place too long. Great work once again, keep it up :)

BusanBlack responds:

Thank you for the compliment :D
Yeah I feel like I keep wanting to mix up genres and sounds to see what goes best and I cant stop with the chiptune-esque sound with hip hop. I really like that combo.

This sounds like old 2000s web game music, I really like it! The small buildups throughout the melody really help make this feel light hearted, happy, and fuzzy. The bell like instruments for the harmony (and partially melody) were a great idea. In general this just makes me very happy when listening to it so I think you did a great job, so keep it coming!!

Oooh this is funky, I like it! It's very synthwave-y with a more modern dance twist. The instruments you used were really good, and fit the style/genre well, especially the 80s like synths. The progressions are very beautiful and enjoyable to listen to as well. The end fade is also very retro, so that's nice! Keep up the awesome work :)

rowan-willard responds:

Thankyou, I'm so glad you liked it!

This sounds kind of like a mix between sonic and megaman music, very cool! I love how you keep the excitement going through the whole song, building up to something endless. The instruments you used fit very well together, including the percussion which just made the song pop. The ending is also very fitting for a song about a rocket haha. Great work and keep it coming :D
