This is very sweet and calm, I like it a lot! The guitar sounds really nice, and the synthy lead instrument is very complementary. I feel like this could play in so many kinds of genres of games, but I think it would be especially cool in a sandbox, a menu, or an rpg game cutscene. Keep it up :D

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it, it makes this Jamuary challenge all worth it :)

This sounds like early 2000's impulse tracker stuff, I love it! It's very beautiful, glissy and calming. The progression just gets more soothing and relieving as the song goes on. Would be awesome for maybe a custcene or credits in a game. Keep it up :)

I really like the songs you used here! The melody sounds very happy too. I feel like it get's a little repetitive sometimes, but otherwise it's just really nice. Awesome work, keep it coming!

This is amazing lol. I love how you took some of the most weirdest memes and actually managed to make a dancy bouncy remix out of them. It even has a good progression that makes the almost four minutes of the track never feel stale. Even though this is a joke mix it's pretty awesome work, keep it up!

KayozKun responds:

Thank you :)

Very intense, I love the cross between ambient and dubstep you got going on here. It's very interesting to hear these transitions in a piece like this, but also helps bring up the suspense. Instrumentation was also great. Keep up the awesome stuff!

Very relaxing, and definitely very smooth. I'm always impressed when instruments are played live in songs, so that's also very nice! The reverb on the guitar made it feel so spaced out and relaxed, it was a very nice touch. Keep up the great work :)

JoeliusNG responds:

Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the kind words.

Oh man I love that shift into pitch tune! And I can definitely hear the inspiration (especially with the way Waterflame often did his strings), but this still definitely sounds very original and unique. The melody is just very happy and exciting too, very playful. I love it a lot, so keep it coming :D

JoHassa responds:

Will do! Thanks for the feedback :D

Very interesting take on the original, I love the main riff the most! I think maybe the mixing could use some extra work, but it sounds great! Going for the rock style was also a really good idea as I think metroid sounds good with some electric guitar. Just love this, keep it coming :)

I can't blame you for using drums outside of Vista sounds, because regardless, this still definitely sounds like a vista song :)

I really like these kinds of compositions, they're very creative and challenging, and you managed to not only make something sound beautiful but also very nostalgic. It sounds kind of like a happy winter song. I love it very much! Keep it up with the creative and cool ideas :D

orbiter408 responds:

Thanks! :-)

This oddly sounds like Earthbound music with its own unique feeling, I like it! Would be interesting if it stretched out a little longer to see what you could've done, and maybe you can make a full song using this as a backing track! Keep it up :)

llitterbox responds:

ayo thanks! have had a lil trouble making more lenghty songs recently but i'll see i guess.
