Beautiful and dramatic I love it! Definitely sounds very boss fight like, and just melancholy and hopeful at the same time. I love how the melody progresses over time as it's constantly evolving, making the battle feeling seem long and heavy. Also I like that the song jumps right into the meat with an awesome intro. Amazing stuff, keep it up!!

Aaaa my first comment, thank you so much!

I feel that I specialize in writing battle themes, albeit fast or slow paced. This is one of my favorite pieces so I'm glad it sat well with more people than myself

I'll do my best to keep the same level of quality, and more so as I learn more about FL Studio

I really dig the groove of this song. As soon as the melodic instruments started kicking in, it felt really good straight from the get go. It feels like some kind of beach house music for a night time sea view cafe. I like all the different melody variations so much, but I think the flute one is definitely my favorite. I feel very nostalgic, happy and relaxed listening to this. Awesome stuff, keep it up!!!

Strange but groovy beat, I like it! I like the different parts where the harmony changes, and/or the percussion to kind of establish weird different phases. The mix is also really clean. Great work, keep it coming!

I like how the song starts up, where it sounds like you are putting a cd into one of those portable players or something. It makes the song feel a little more authentic when it kicks in. The consistent pitch wobble through the song also establishes that retro sound of slightly broken hardware. The melody although repetitive is very nice and sweet. Great work, keep it up!

Sounds awesome! I do hear the RoR2 inspiration, but it also sounds a bit like DK country music and also your own unique stuff. I like the progression, it's unusual and mysterious but most importantly very fun to listen to. Mix is also very clean. Keep up the awesome stuff :D

Super nostalgic melody, sweet sound, and so much feel good emotions! I really like this. The little harmony that's there from the beginning is probably my favorite part because on its own its just so nostalgic for some reason and makes me happy. The atmosphere is fast paced and exciting too. I like that you keep it mostly the same while layering more things over the song to spice it up. Keep up the awesome work!!

wow, thank you so much! comments like these really make my day, i appreciate it.

This sounds very goofy and light hearted yet villainous, which is perfect for a fun rpg like game! The song sounds like tracker music with the samples you used which gives it kind of a nostalgic DS like feeling. All the little flairs in it also give the song a lot of character and make it fun to listen to. When re-listening to the song it's also a bit surprising how it got from how it sounds like in the beginning to the end, the melody transitions are so seamless which is really cool! Great work, keep it up :D

beenibroh responds:

that genuinely means so much. thank you!! The DS sound was intentional. i wanted this song to feel like something straight out of Mario & Luigi so i studied the music from that game some hehe

It's interesting to hear the dub step part kick in without an initial drop, but I think it worked very well. It's kind of like the whole melody works side by side with the dubstep parts, and not separately. The song itself does have a exploration like mood to it, and some fascination kinda if that makes sense haha. But yeah it sounds really good, keep it up!

Interesting start, I wasn't sure what to feel at the beginning but as the song kept going I liked it more and more. It's weird, and I think that's what makes it cool. The way it progresses, the chord progressions as well, the melody all just creates a really nice strange feel to it. Strangely enough it also does remind me of rain for some reason so that's pretty cool! Love what you did here, keep it up :D

Didn't expect this positive of a comment! Thank you, octopus!

You're right, could definitely work for an RPG boss battle theme! The intensity starts out right away and gets carried through the whole song. The instrument choices fit together very tightly too. Some parts get a little repetitive (mostly with the harmony) but I still think it's great! Awesome stuff, keep it up :)
