This is super groovy, it reminds me of all those demos the old MIDI keyboards would come with that you could just spam in the store haha. I love how you kept authentic to going for that old MIDI feel while making the song sound groovy and fun without anything extra. It just feels good and spaced out, relaxing and exciting at the same time in a way. The progression is also really nice. Just awesome stuff in general, keep it up!

Another great song! Definitely feels boss theme like again just with a different mood. It also loops so seamlessly I didn't notice that I listened to the whole thing uh.. 4 times already haha. I love the consistent energy in the track, and the amazing harmony that comes along with the awesome melody. It just feels like within the minute and a half there is so much variation that it won't get boring to listen to even if it loops like 10 times! Amazing work once again, keep it coming :D

Interloping responds:

Can you tell Ive played a bit too much pokemon recently? 🤔

I wanted to cast the same shadow as the leaders of the "team ______" from your typical pokemon games with my own flare. It was incredibly difficult not to copy anything they have going since they've covered most of the bases with that chord progression as a whole.

I think I'll be taking a small break, I pumped that piece out in 5 hours and my wrist is a bit angry at me for it 😖

I never saw that gameplay, but I think the music you wrote definitely fits very well! It's not the classic Sonic music I'm used to, but it definitely feels very fitting with the breakbeats, the fast pace, and the mix of classic and modern instruments. I think you managed to create a pretty unique feel in general as it sounds like a mix between classic sonic melodies, classic instruments, and modern sonic sound. The melody itself is enticing and fun, and definitely gives me jungle feelings too! Also love how you managed to squeeze in orchestra hits haha. Awesome work, keep it up!!

Sounds like early 2010s eurodance/dance, very nostalgic! Also feels like it still has somewhat of a modern twist with some risers from and effects EDM stuff. The song flows nicely, it doesn't stagnate even with the repetitive melody as you always add some variation over it to make it sound new. Song itself also feels strong and powerful in terms of mood. Great work, keep it up!

As soon as that intro started I knew this was going to be an awesome song. But man this is super out there! I love how crisp and perfect the mixing is, and the combination of all the different instruments you used. My favorite you've used is definitely the saxes, but the guitars and vocals really stapled the mood. It's just a very feel good, exciting song that makes me happy and energized. And all the drops are just the most beautiful thing ever, they really amplify everything x100. Fantastic work, keep it coming!!!

Thank you! I appreciate the detailed response <3 also love how relevant your name is to this song, hahaha

Awesome song! It definitely feels like the beginning of summer with all the good feelings coming from it, but it also radiates that "finally!" kind of mood, not sure whether its from the graduation or summer finally starting (or both lol). I really dig the progression as it keeps the energy going throughout with only minor breaks to introduce another segment. The chiptune arps were a cool addition, and the riser in the middle was fun too. Awesome stuff, keep it up!

supermelon-creations responds:

Thankss!!!

Really nice, definitely feels like relaxing farm music! I like how the song starts off with a slower tempo, builds it up suddenly around half way in, and then declines a bit towards the end. The combo of guitar and piano really suited well for the mood you were going for I think, and the melody is beautiful, happy and mellow. It was a great listen, keep up the awesome work!

Quarl responds:

Thank you Octopus, this compliment made it worthwhile! I'm typically all EDM but removing big dance drums from the equation left a lot of room for cows and stuff :p

Very nice trance/house track, definitely feels sky-divey. Like you're falling and watching everything pass you in slow motion or something. The pads were great and helped with the kind of calm mood, and the plucks were also really nice as they kind of emphasized the falling feeling. Awesome work, keep it up!

XaiverXD responds:

Thanks! I'll be sure to make more soon. I have only 4 days left of school before summer break, and I will be producing more than I usually do.

Really sounds like the splash version of Crying Soul with a bit of Basshunter lol, reminds me of early 2000s techno/dance in general. Nice to hear some nostalgic stuff once in a bit. I like the melody and the chord progression. Great work, keep it coming!

Belastet responds:

Thanks! Yes it's inspired by Crying Soul. i just changed some notes tho

I like how heavy the bass is in this track, and the chops/sidechain is really cool too! Reminds me a bit of hard bass. While the chords stay mostly the same, the track progresses in a fun and entertaining way because every drop is very dancy and just generally enjoyable. Great work, keep it coming!
