Definitely sounds dark and melancholic, but also kind of hopeful and ponder-y. I like it! Ambient can be so unique when you put effort into textures and layering like how you did here. The mood you were going for was demonstrated perfectly, but it's also soothing in a way. I really like it, keep up the great work!

Very pretty, soothing, and definitely reminiscent of 80s mall music. It sounds pretty emotional but also just nostalgic and beautiful all around. I love the pads you used, and the DX7 piano. The bed bath and beyond part caught me off guard though lmao. Keep up the great work!!

Goes hard, I love it :)
The progression is pretty cool, it starts soft and gets into intense sections later on. The chops are very satisfying to listen to, and the synths are very cohesive together. All the little effects you put in are also very nice to spice up the song. It all wraps up very nicely at the end too. Awesome work, keep it coming!!

thank you so much

I think this does a great job at sounding dark, evil, suspenseful and scary. The pacing and tempo give it this looming feeling, as if something is constantly approaching that you already know is bad. The occasional effects you add (distortion, voices, high strings) give a chill to the song to keep it scary and evil sounding. And the melody changes so slightly that the mood gets maintained, but it definitely gets more and more intense over the 3 minutes. You do amazing work writing orchestral/cinematic/classical, keep up the awesome work!

Thanks so much for the review and appreciate your input - nice to hear :D

Nice little loop! It's short but it definitely has a whole mood and style established within the half minute. It sounds a bit spooky with the wobbliness, and serious with the synths you chose. But also a bit magical and mysterious with all the glittering and sparkly noises. Great work, keep it coming :D

I think this is definitely really great work and you should be proud of it!
It's weird and unusual with the combination, but you still made it work very well. The first third of the song was beautiful and slower, with a great combination of instruments. The change around 1:40 was a little surprising but I warmed up to it very quickly as the tempo rose and the breakbeats kicked in. Kicking into hard style before reverting to this dramatic guitary section was a really brave decision but also worked out great, and I think you achieved your goal with this class of styles and instruments. And while this is great, I definitely think you will make many more songs just as good (if not better) in the future! Awesome work, keep it up!!

HelliXScream responds:

Thank you, mate!

I'm also really happy of how it turned out and i think i have the full right to claim it as my best track ever. Experiment is a success!

Oooh, really nice!
The song does a great job at establishing the mood straight from the get go with that desolate feeling of sustained pads. But when the piano kicks in there's a dancy little edge to it, and then more instruments just take turns kind of keeping the original mood while building differently over it. All the different effects and percussions you chose to use also really add to the sci-fi feeling you were going for. So yeah I think it's very beautifully done, and besides the desolate feeling kinda puts me into a happy and calm mood! Amazing work, keep it coming :D

I dunno what the title means, but I really enjoy listening to this! The textures are great, they give the song a really crisp and fresh feeling. The development of the song is also really cool, as the melody sounds subtle (with most of the focus being on the percussion it feels like) but also very nice. However when it also kicks in and becomes more dominant around 1:55 it's really cool too. The whole piece sounds actiony and a little mysterious/alien, so overall the environment is pretty unique and pretty. Awesome work, keep it up!!

Cavernsparten responds:

The first part of it was from a randomly generated title maker. The rest of it was something random I came up with.

Beautiful through and through, I completely zoned out while listening to this haha
After listening to it the second time I can definitely say my favorite part is the melody; as on its own it sounds blissful. However with the string pads/sustains and the reverb it definitely fits the theme of void. The addition of drums and percussion to the melody was also very nice as it gave the song some action and character. Awesome work, keep it coming :D

zuzamusik responds:

thanks a lot mate! you really made my day! God bless!

I find the fact that you designed all these sounds very impressive! Not just because they sound cool individually, but because you made them work well together. I often like when instruments are cohesive in a song, but in this case you made everything from scratch and it just all fits together. The melody also really fits the instrument design as it's a little funky and actiony, with (like the title lol) tension. So I think this was a great idea, and it resulted in a great song! Keep it up :D

MyrtleMist responds:

Heeeey thank you for the feedback. At some point I figured that I rely too much on premade presets and that limited my ability to find just the right sound for my work, so I went out of my way to specifically try and learn how to make my own sounds more than just on a rare occasion. Glad that it worked out lol.
