This song is full of different style and mood swings, I love it! It started out pretty and happy, then went to kind of uncertain and mysterious for a bit, then back to happy and then just the chaos kicked in out of nowhere! You made great usage out of all the instruments and made them work very nicely together, and made a great progression altogether. I can definitely feel all the styles you mentioned in here as well, because there's definitely an epic orchestral element, metal guitary stuff, and dubstep as well. Great work here, keep it up!

This is so dang awesome! The energy you build almost immediately hits and turns into this crazy and beautiful chaos. The piano was an awesome decision and the way it was played sounds great, and the synthy/electronic stuff really amplified the unique mood of the song. All the different phases are so varied and fit together so perfectly, while covering many different moods like passionate/emotional, to hectic, to hopeful, suspenseful, etc. And that pitch change towards the end was so cool! Awesome job once again, you make great music, keep it up!!

Your review is so amazing. Thanks for listening :D

I love the default windows MIDI soundfont lol. Something about it makes anything written in it sound so nostalgic, like it's from the early 2000s. The melody definitely sounds enticing, and like you said being chased by a huge dragon or other threatening enemy. I love the energy you maintain, especially with that one repeating melody with more stuff building off of it. Awesome work, keep it up!!

thanks thanks!! thank you for the kind words and yeszz I was hoping to hit some kind of nostalgic spot with it

I can see what you mean with the whole comfortable melody being amplified thing, because on one end if you remove the percussion it would probably be a slightly intense but mostly relaxing song, but the percussion gave this a really cool kick and brought all the energy! All the different phases stick together so well, and the instruments you chose worked nicely together. The guitar playing was also awesome! Great job, keep it up :D

Even with using the Epic Paradise Chords arp you still managed to add a lot to it and make it sound exciting! Especially when you put a filter on it at one point while having other stuff play over it. Sometimes people get lazy with Nexus and just slap arps together, but in your case you really built off of it. Great work once again :D

Thank you!!!!!!

This sounds so happy and uplifting! It doesn't sound like classic trance, but more like something new and a mix of styles, and a good splash of uniqueness. The progression is awesome and just kept me happy through the whole song, and even from the beginning you did a great job at building hype. The mixing is great, all the instruments that should be heard are heard clearly. Amazing work, keep it coming!!

Thanks for your comment!

Another one, awesome! I can definitely hear the inspiration, but the melody is still very unique, and the style also adds uniqueness as well. I like how fast paced it was, the synthy arp and bass also added a ton of intensity. Just cool stuff all around once again, keep it coming!!

Belastet responds:

Thanks for the feedback!!!

Swingy and goofy, I like it! Sounds like a fun little song to put in some cute part of a video game or something, or during a dialogue. I also like the progression, it's happy and even a little adventurous! But yeah great job once again, keep up the great work :D

Definitely sounds hopeful! Just generally sounds pretty magical and emotional. The mallet instrument you used was very good for starting, and the strings were articulated in a great way to build up emotion and tension. The introduction of arps also felt tingly and exciting. Great work on this, keep it up!!

Beautiful flow :)
The structure really does make the song feel like a waterfall. Just intense as well, and also shiny, which I like! The bass you chose for this is really good, and the pattern on it is super fitting. The percussion also really helps increase the hype, and the pads make the song sound spaced out and ethereal. Amazing work, really love this! Keep it up :D
