Oooh this is amazing! Gonna try listing as much things as possible: Firstly I love the inclusion of the tongue drum starting in the beginning, it's a very calm instrument that's both percussive and melodic and really helps set the atmosphere early. All the glittery instruments really help make the song also feel more magical. But man when more of the percussion kicks in with the choir, it immediately establishes a beautiful scene that's wonderous, relaxing, passionate and definitely still magical. The progression feels like it carries you to new places yet familiar to the ones before, it has amazing execution. The mixing and mastering of everything is perfect too, I feel like there's complete clarity in all the instruments, they all work together and not against each other. There's so much more I can say about this amazing song, but all I can say is beautiful work once again, keep it coming!!

Thank you for the wonderful review.
It looks like the exact emotions I was trying to convey got through to you in the listening experience, and that's just awesome.
This was the first song I've ran into my analog mixer pre daw input, so I'm glad to hear you say I did a good job on the mixing and mastering as well 😎

This song has an interesting mood to it, kind of like a night time atmosphere but with a nice action edge to it. I love the bass in this, but what I also really like is the smooth intro that kind of leads into the climactic part. Great stuff, keep it up!

This definitely feels dancy, but also kind of cinematic, adventurous and mysterious. Just a cool clash of all those styles! The chops and gates made this sound very impactful and awesome, and also kind of an actiony vibe despite being slower tempo. The saws you picked were awesome, and the plucks gave this song a cool edge too. Great work, keep it coming!

Thanks for the kind word! I'm glad you liked it!

This sounds really calm, I don't often hear calm house like this :)
Sure there's percussion that provides some kind of energy, but the rhodes piano is really soothing and the chords are sleepy. The pitch change was also super nice, I love when songs do that! Keep up the great work :D

Sounds like 2010s party music, I like it :D
The piano parts were all definitely nice, but adding pads and eventually bass, sidechain, and percussion really helped bring out the ecstatic happiness. Congrats to 100 songs on NG, and here's to many more!

Thank you!!!!!

Cozy :)
I like the instruments in this, they are soft and drowsy, and the progression feels like it can carry me to sleep. I also love the harmonica/melodica you put in, especially with the vibrato on it. Great work, keep it up as always!

For real though this sounds nice, I like the calmness and also the samples you used were really cool and sound like they came out of the Amiga. Great work as always, keep it up :)

ravestarGT responds:

thanks. this is one of the original ST-01 samples for the ultimate soundtracker for amiga.

Nice mix of styles! It sounds dance/trancey but at the same time kind of calm and easy. Kind of creates this special feeling of warmth with a little bit of excitement. My favorite instrument you used was the synth trance gate one because it is what I feel brought the energy while the pads and softer instruments supplemented it. Great work, keep it up!

Very interesting, I like the somewhat calmness of this song compared to some of your other stuff. It still definitely packs a punch, but kind of has this mix of slight despair and also serenity. The rapidly changing synthetic textures are pretty cool, and there's plenty of variety in the different melodic segments. Around 4 minutes in though there's a slight turn that immediately gets this more actiony punch which is pretty cool, kind of like a sudden climactic moment. Loved it from start to finish :D

Love this! The intro is kind of slow and menacing, and still actiony. The middle part is also looming which adds to the existing atmosphere you created, and then things progress to feel more actiony and fast later. The screeching sounds are awesome, and there's also a lot of space to the track. Awesome stuff as always, keep it up :D
