You make so many songs that sound so spacey!
This one sounds way more energetic. It sounds like you're exploring a lush and vivid planet or something and it's exciting but also happy. The grittiness is definitely an interesting touch that gives this song a unique atmosphere, and the percussion is pretty interesting too. Great work once again, keep it coming!

Lirrezzz responds:

thank you so much! <3

Very cute and happy sounding, reminds me a bit of Kirby 64 music for some reason :)
I really love the bells you used, and the ghostly sounding lead. The chords are also really nice and make the song feel sleepy and soothing. Great work, keep it up!

Ooh the energy in this is sick! Feels like early 2000s dance/trance that would fit in some kind of racing game or fast paced scenario. I love the instruments you used, especially your selection of leads. The progression was also really fun and hyped up. As always keep up the awesome work!!

wineplume responds:

yep! i tried to make this as energetic as possible.

Pretty nice! Could totally see this be used in a full trance song :)

Ooh, another cool track! This boss music sounds really heavy, kind of like dealing with a giant or something similar. I like how much you vary it up with the melody and progression, and the percussion also makes this very fun to listen to; not only that but you managed to make it a whole 8 minutes long! Great work here, keep it coming once again :D

Thanks! I had a lot of ideas/references for what I wanted this song to be, so a lot of effort was put into this. I wanted the song to evoke a sense of anger and sadness, and I think I nailed it.

This song has some pretty cool classic dubstep sounding effects with a lot of grit and some pretty hard bass! The melody itself is pretty heavy too and carries a lot of energy. It sounds menacing and cool at the same time. Also a bit unusual for dubstep but there's a lot of variation and also a good amount of melody, which I really like as well. Great work, keep it up!

This song has a weird somewhat sad vibe but also calm somehow at the same time? It's really cool though! I think it's the chords you used and also how the song began, yet it gets more happy towards the end of the song. The progression also does a great job at delivering the unusual and unique atmosphere. I love the samples you used, I can recognize most of them too from some SNES games! Did you use Chipsynth by any chance? Also love the description lol, it's pretty funny.

Keep up the awesome work :)

centurioncee responds:

thank you! i used the C700 vst with earthbound pad, sinewaveform and marimba, chrono trigger drums and bass, and donkey kong country piano. the harmonica is from zelda though i forget which game

This definitely has some holiday sounding feelings to it! All the bells you used really helped amplify that feeling, as well as all the chilly sounding pads. I think your progression was very interesting as it not only changed up the melody very often, but also the beat, which makes for a really interesting song. I also think you did a great job at making the song sound magical and happy as well. Great song, keep up the good work :D

Jojo responds:

Thank you so much for this lovely review.

So funky! I love how groovy this is and the melody is just so awesome. There's also so much variation going making the song feel like it's evolving and pretty entertaining. I also really like some of the instruments you used, like the lead and the bright bell like instrument. This song feels like it could easily play during some club scene in a video game, or during some kind of winter festival at night maybe? Either way this is super awesome, amazing work and keep it up!!

pedkan responds:

thanks!

Sometimes, a slow pace works wonders on the feelings and the emotions of a song. And for this one, the slow development with the beautiful swelling instruments alongside a steady rhythmic percussion creates something truly beautiful. The song brings out a feeling of curiosity, mystery, and yet is soothing and explorative at the same time. It kind of feels alien as it progresses as well, as if you've discovered a biome in some alien planet. The way you slowly introduce instruments feels so amazing; it's so seamless you don't even feel a harsh change, yet it adds so much the more layers the song gets. To top it all off, it also has a beautiful ending. Amazing work, keep it up!!
