This is a very beautiful piece, and it definitely gives off the feeling of being lost. However I feel the mixing/panning didn't do it justice; sometimes the sound sounds like it clips (has a harsh noise) at louder segments, and the panning of the whole song seems to be coming out the right ear much more than the left. I feel if you'd be able to fix these things, this song would be much more enjoyable! Anyways, great work, and keep going!

Thanks for the feedback, my eight-legged friend! I might update it when I have time, possibly later today.

Edit: I edited it, recorded another track at a lower volume as to *try* to prevent more clipping. Also fixed the panning, should be more balanced now.

Nice track! You have some good sounds in there. The mixing also sounded pretty neat and the chord progression was nice. I also really enjoyed the arp you used! However, I feel some more variety is needed, as sometimes it sounds a little too empty. 0:54 to around 01:37 sounded like it could maybe use a little more? Regardless you did a good job, keep going!

Ooh this is so nice and jumpy! I love the all the blips and arps, and the progression is pretty neat too. Sounds very keygen like, which is probably my favorite genre of chiptune haha

I also really love the build up to the part at 2:15, it was pretty well done and a good use of percussion. Keep it up with more music!

This piece sounds very dark and very menacing, I think it's a very unique feeling you made here! Sounds like something right out of a shooting action game, just very intense and exciting altogether. The sound design on this is also great, from the screeches to the growls to the synths, and the gates too. I think especially for a first glitch step song this is seriously amazing, keep it up!

Thank you so much for your review! I'll keep it up, don't worry ;)

This is kinda cool, it sounds like a bonus room or a more relaxing level in an NES game :)
I really like the blips on the offbeat, and the poppy tone of the song overall. It sounds very nostalgic but also new at the same time, which is really cool! I think the biggest feeling I get from this is a happy one since it just overall seems very cheerful. Anyways keep it up with the music, it's great!

Thank you very much, I'm glad you like it! ^_^

Very calm track indeed! I love this composition, from the softer sounds you used for the melody and harmony, to the more popping drums and percussion. Only thing I would suggest is maybe adding a bit more variety in melody/harmony at points, but otherwise this is very nice, great job!

I really like this dark sounding, dynamic composition. Very heavy dance feelings in this! The synths you use are perfect, and when that piano comes in it sounds phenomenal! Only thing that caught me off guard is the part that begins at 0:41, as it sounds a little off tempo. Maybe that was intentional though. Anyways, great job!

SUNSCREECH responds:

thank you! ^^
the acid synth that kicks in at 0:41 is probably the cause of this part feeling a bit off tempo, i think i went a lil bit too frantic with the rhythm there

Very deep sounding, synthy piece. The beginning sounded like something straight out of a Madness short! I also love the chord progression in this in general, but wow my favorite part comes in around 2:03 with those strings, it makes the song sound very royal! The dynamics make this really pumped up, and I just love the craziness of the bass growls. Keep it going!

That was a really long intro, interesting! It definitely helps set up atmosphere and the rest of this hectic track. I think my favorite thing about your piece is the progression, as it starts as this one thing, and in the middle it's almost something completely different, but yet the song flows perfectly. Nothing too spontaneous, everything feels like it fits. Also love the synths that come in around 02:15, very creative use of them! If anything a lot of the sounds you use in your piece here are very cool. Overall I think this is a very unique boss theme approach, it sounds very trailery even, and I think you'll find lots of success making more of these tracks ;)

Now this is heavy! Literally sounds like something straight out of the newer doom games haha. I love the metal chugs in there, it really adds to the atmosphere. And that part at 1:13 makes excellent use of panning, I don't hear much stuff like that. Keep making stuff like this :)
