I definitely think you did a great job trying out a new genre you haven't before! The instrumentation choice is pretty good for a dark atmosphere and something on the grim side. The percussion and the mastering around that is done really well too. Only thing I'd do is maybe change the repetitiveness a little, as the melody from the beginning is carried to the end without variation. But otherwise it's really nice, keep up the great work :)

This sounds weird, but in like the fun and interesting way :)
The phases of the song are pretty cool, especially when you transition into another instrument temporarily, but the guitar is also very nice. I like how it sounds a bit unnatural if that makes sense? But yeah, I can definitely picture this in some kind of hazy busy city type of place, maybe in another world too. Great job, keep it up!

Thank you! I've been experimenting with different instruments to see what can go with what genre of music and not sound too funky.

This was pretty nice and mellow, and definitely very enjoyable to listen to :)
I liked the progression and the instruments you used to set the mood, and I like how you give every instrument kind of a turn or phase (aside from percussion). It really highlighted all the different parts and prevented the song from ever getting stagnant. Great job, keep it up!

Wow, what a comment! Thank you so much!

Sounds very mysterious, I like it! You have different phases that all take great use of instruments, and a final big classical style climax at the end with a more calm outro. You did a great job at varying up each of the phases as the song did not sound repetitive at all. Awesome work, keep it up!

This was very cute, first thing I thought of was a farming game like Stardew Valley or Staxel lol. It's very beautiful even though its simple, and very relaxing. It made me feel really happy listening to it, and I love your mixing as well as your introduction of certain instruments like the strings and the mallets. Keep up the amazing, beautiful work! :)

thank you so much!!!!!!!

This mix is insane holy shit. I love it so much! I dunno what genre of music this is but I love whatever you did so much, it's crazy and all over the place in such a fun way. Every instrument sounds perfectly stand outish and just compliments every other instrument playing at every time. The phases of the song flow into each other seamlessly, and sometimes the energy buildup just goes higher and higher... idk there's so much good I can say about this, it's beautiful from start to end, amazing work here! Please keep making more awesome stuff :D

HypercubeRecords responds:

Thank you so muchh!! :))) btw genres are colourbass/hypertrance

Love the time signature change! Overall this song is actually really beautiful, for some reason sounds like it can also be in a modern sonic game haha. I love how certain instruments fade in and out when they take the spotlight, I love the beautiful melody, and I love the harmony that you create as well. Really great song, great job and keep it up!!

Zip-Zap-Official responds:

Thank you so much! Funnily enough Jun Senoue (the guitarist behind many Sonic themes) is one of my inspirations :')

The gates here are sick, I love this! Also sounds very happy and hopeful, even a little relaxing in a way. The instruments and melody are very beautiful, definitely spacey too. The progression was always varying it up too, and was never stagnant. Great job on this, keep it all coming :D

This was really hard and intense, and all the SFX really helped add to the mood of a suspenseful action track! I think you did a great job on the progression, and the mixing was really good too. All the "important' sounds really stood out while the harmony really brought it all to life. Awesome work, keep it up :D
