I think the background you ended up going with is just fine honestly :)

As for coco I love how you drew her! Very cartoony but also smooth and interesting shading at the same time. The pose you gave her is also pretty nice. Also her shirt is really nicely interpreted here. Keep it up!

That redraw is super impressive! Not only did you nail Goku's look down to every last detail, but the cell like shading you gave him is also just awesome. And the style overlay you gave it also looks really nice. Great work, keep it all coming!
