Very creative use of colored outlines! I love how in some places the outline changes from the shading color to a very vibrant color, it feels way more popping especially over a white background. The posing and facial expression is also very great, and is pretty accurate to senpais first form. Also small thing but I love how you drew the petals. Great work though, keep it up :D

This looks awesome! Even kinda reminds me of the OG NG style. I love all the shine on the armor yet a different roughness on less lustrous materials. The posing is also really cool, and I absolutely love how you drew all the weapons on the big guy. Great work, keep it coming :)

Absolutely love the color choices for this, as well as the awesome animation! It took me a while to look through the whole picture to find every little piece that moves or changes. The whole thing also emits very peaceful and relaxing feelings, and reminds me of some shorelines even I have been to. I love it when art can evoke specific memories :)

But yeah great job on this, keep it up!

Thank you!

What a nice, smooth and watercolor-y style :)
I never played hollow knight but I really like how you drew the character, especially since you used slightly hued grays. It gives the image more atmosphere, in this case a little bit of a cold one (which is also accentuated by the background colors). Nice work, keep it coming!

Thank you so much

I love this style! It looks rough wiht the linework yet smooth sometimes with shading, very interesting. The color choice is very cozy feeling, and there's an interesting contrast between the warm colored bg and the cold colored character in the middle. It helps the character pop more. As for the character themselves, they look very interesting, I love how you did the clothing and the eyes. Keep up the great work!

That looks awesome! He looks much beefier than normal in these pictures but that's kinda what makes it cool :)

I like how you drew his build, and the outfit you've gave him is very fitting. I love the knee guards especially because they look very punk and just opposite of what Pico would probably wear. The sword is really good looking too, reminds me of the Buster sword.

The job variant is also a really cool idea as it makes him look like this half assassin half punk person which is really neat. Overall I love this, keep it up!

Thank you very much, from what I saw, piconjo is very influenced by final fantasy so I had to give it those details to make it look cooler. I also took a reference from a drawing that piconjo had wearing a completely black leather suit and some other clothes in other animations. I'm glad you liked it there. nwn!

These are all really cute G&W drawings :)
I love how they look slightly more cartoony/stylized in a new way, it makes it feel like something much more original than just redraws of sprites. But even then, the posing is very accurate to the source material so this is great. Keep it up!

Ah I love this so much! This is so close to the classic sonic style, and the line work in this is really popping out, it's crazy. I love the expressions on both Sonic, Tails and Eggman because you did a really good job conveying the emotion. Overall awesome work I hope you keep it up :D

What an amazing use of color, especially because of such a limited palette! While it looks like it slightly exceeds the 4 color space of the Game Boy, it still definitely gives off that retro feeling and does a great job at it. Not only that, the actual animation looks very fluid and dynamic, which is usually hard to pull off. I really hope your game goes far with this kind of hard work put in to it, keep it up :D

TankTheta responds:

Yeah, I think Golden Flame will shine like a real Indie Gem. I put my heart and soul into it. Even if it doesn't hit it big, I'd never regret my time with making what I've made for it.
Also fun fact, the palette does indeed exceed 4 colours, it's more of a modern take on the palette with about 8 colours. Makes more detail possible which helps. I try to keep to the Gameboy aesthetic as hard as I can because it's a tribute to Tower of Heaven in some regards visually.

Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed this.

Really dynamic and cool picture! I love how you drew the monster, very detailed and definitely keeps an uncanny/scary look to it. The scenery is also very good looking and definitely adds to the feeling with all the desaturated colors and overall cloudy atmosphere. Keep up the great work :)
