I never watched any king movies because I don't like to get scared lol but this is awesome! I like how you used a thicker outline for the outside and thinner lines on the inside, it feels like a sticker almost. The face was extremely well drawn, I searched up how it looks and I think you nailed it. Shading and lighting is also very well done here. Keep up the great work!

Terickel responds:

Oh, thank you very much. I didn't think anyone would react to this at all, let alone some one who never saw the movie.

I think this was a really cool study, because I love how it looks! I see what you mean by heavier emphasis on the linework, you definitely did it very well and everything is still very clear and distinct. The monochromatic green color scheme you used is very pretty and fitting for the illustration. The lighting and shading is also very well done. Overall it's just a pretty awesome drawing. So keep up the awesome work!

This is nice! I'm proud to say I recognize everyone but the queen haha. I love how you drew every character fitting to their style, and I'm impressed how accurately you nailed the style of Dr. Livesey. Great work, keep it coming!

I don't know any of these but the main (grey) hank, but I really like the concept of this picture! The sonic hank thing is especially funny lol

I like how well of a reference to the original this is, down to the placement and posing, yet you still kept the original madness color scheme and look to it. The lineart is also very well done and the designs are pretty accurate. Great work, keep it up :D

Love the low poly style! It actually looks like the tree has multiple layers with the way you made the textures look, and they shading on each layer is really well done too. I also like how you did the snowy base, it looks very nice too. Just gives me a lot of retro vibes, esp. because it's a gif I guess haha. Great work, keep it up!

Lol this is awesome. It reminds me of older sonic flash cartoons with how goofy it is. I love that despite it being a meme drawing both characters are actually drawn very well and the background is accurate to GHZ too! And obviously I love the dynamic poses and expressions you gave the characters, they are very fitting. Great work, keep it up :D

StunkMan responds:

Thank you for the kind words. I haven't drawn for a little bit and am shaking off the rust. I was worried it didn't turn out well, but your comment was very reassuring!

Another awesome picture, love it! For some reason it reminds me of a weird soviet Estonian cartoon called Suur Toll, the style was not same but somewhat similar especially with how you draw the faces. I love the perspectives on the faces too, like the one facing the side so you can see more of his nose and stuff. The way you drew the roots all squiggly was really nice too, and I love the little mountain peeking over the top. Great work and keep it coming!

TheMarooned responds:

Wow thank you so much for the kind words! I haven't heard of Suur Toll, but just looked it up and it looks amazing, thank you for the recommendation :)

I love how everything has a subtle face the longer you look at it. This is very weird and cool at the same time, but I'm in love with the style! It's very folk storybook like in a very unique way. I can actually see like a whole story with illustrations in this style. The palette of colors you used also works so well together! Amazing work, keep it up :D

Look at him go weeeee
But for real this is really cool! Honestly right off the bat my favorite thing about this is that you not only drew an accurate ball from the game, but you drew it as such a rotation that it shows like 90% of the character very clearly instead of partially obstructing him. I also really like the linework, how you drew the ears, and the clothes is very well done too! The face is also super on point to how he's supposed to look, so everything about this feels very good. Great work, keep it coming!
