Hey guys! Long time no... post? For anyone that follows me on here, I have a cool thingy to share!
I'm working on a game right now called ME-OS, which is a spoof on operating systems like Windows, OSX, Linux based, and so on. It functions almost like a real OS with a ton of programs and games, where the programs go anywhere from music players, text editors, video players, web browsers, and even some basic compilers. The games range from platformers to shooters, retro arcade, marble racing, infinite jumpers, and much more. All the software in the OS is linked together in terms of progression and even a story! Interested? We're really looking for suggestions, feedback and beta testers right now. The more the merrier! Here's the discord link:
As for a bit more info, this is a project I started with me and my wife before we were married, about two years ago plus minus. That's why it actually abbreviates to Michael Emily Operating System! Very original, I know haha. We wanted to make something that doesn't just feel familiar, but feels vast, with new content and fun progression while you find out more about the "worlds" the OS comes from. Because of this, it's very important to us that we get as much feedback and impressions as possible, so we can make the OS more fun for you!
Thanks for reading, as always ^^
