This is perfect for an environment that's mysterious, eerie, or dark in nature. I love the slow buildups, they are perfect for this style. And as the music progresses, more and more varying melodies can start to be heard. This is beautiful music that sounds intriguing as well as relaxing somehow at the same time. Amazing work, keep it coming!

Wow! Thank you very much!

Very interesting soundscapes you have going on here, I really like the textures that develop over time. At first I wasn't sure where the song was going, but it ended up being very interesting, dramatic, and ethereal all at once as it progressed. Kind of like if ambient was on crack lol. It's just very beautiful and I love every twist and turn! So great work, keep it coming :)

Drakensson responds:

Thank you Octopus. Much appreciated : )

This sounds so retro! Just like the kind of stuff you'd hear in those old onehourcompo contests. It really reminds me of launcher/keygen music. I love the melodies, and throughout the whole song there is no stagnation making things sound non repetitive and ever changing. I love your usage of pitch bend and vibrato too! Awesome work, keep it coming :D

thx and yes I think that was also kind of the vibe where I was going for, but I used 3xOsc to imitate chiptune sounds, but I think I might've been better off if I just used serum for everything, but right now it sounds better than I originally expected. and I'll try my best tho I probably won't make a lot of chiptune music sorryz if thats what you prefer heheh.

This made me happy :)

The melody is very beautiful, the progression isn't too repetitive and is always moving, and the plucky chiptune sounds fit perfectly. I love the blips that you use for the harmony, and the percussion pattern is also really cool. The melody that comes in at around 01:38 is also really beautiful and helps kick off the ending to the song that comes later. Really amazing work, keep it up!!!!

But for real this is amazing! I mean even without my bias towards loving the genesis FM sound, this is crazy good. So much variety in each song, every track is just something amazing and special on it's own. If I could give 5 stars for all 8 songs at the same time, I so would! This is legitimately some of the best 16 bit music I've heard in a while and feels like it legitimately came out of a genesis game too. Thank you for blessing my ears with such amazing stuff today haha

Keep up the amazing beautiful work!!!!

Thanks to you for listening and taking the time to reviewing these tracks!

Sounds like a really enticing and exciting intro sequence, I like it! The multiple layers of arpeggios in some parts of the song give it a very full feeling. Otherwise each phase also has a good transition into the next before the repeating segments come in. The ending was also really pretty! Great work, keep it coming :)

Thank you so much for your review! Glad you liked it!

Very cute and happy, nice! I like the lightheartedness of this song, and the melody is beautiful. The occasional portamentos really give the song a lot of personality, and the bass/percussion is pretty punchy too. Could work very well for something like a menu, intro level or credits even for a game. Awesome work, keep it up!

OVERSCORE responds:

Thank you! Happy pixel day

This sounds amazing! For some reason as soon as the first drop happened with the metal sounds I got reminded of Risk of Rain 2 OST, but honestly this feels very unique and original. This is such an interesting mix between almost cinematic/symphonic music and dub step, I don't think I've heard anything like this before. The long (but beautiful) intro really felt worth it when you got to the drop. And the harpsichord that comes in at around 3 minutes was sick too. There's a lot I can say about this but honestly just great work, keep it up!!! It's awesome :D

FeroCatfish responds:

yoo thanks for your long and inspiring review! I honestly still impressed by what I just made lol

I really like this, especially the shift at 1:25! The melodies are so beautiful, and the chord shifts are great too. I love the sound of the piano and the other instruments you use. If I could suggest something, there are a few notes that sound off key (like for example at 2:45-2:47) and there could be more bass maybe, but it sounds great though don't get me wrong! I love how you go between phases of the song as well. Keep up the great work!!

parqcxsm responds:

Thanks for your feedback! Actually I made these notes offkey on purpose lol. 🌻🌼🌸🌸

This is cool! Sounds like a level theme that could easily play in some chill sky level for a platformer or something. I love the wide echoey chords you have in the background, and the main melody is really nice too. The different use of synths you have throughout are also really nice. Great work, keep it up!
