Nice song! I think you definitely succeeded with capturing the time you were going for (60's ish), especially with the mellotron sounding strings in the bg. The instrumentation is crazy beautiful, dynamics are perfect and harmony just compliments the melody without contrast. The mood is also very relaxing, lovey and sweet. This would sound beautiful playing at some beachside cafe during a sunset. Love this a bunch, keep up the awesome work!!!

ItsBurner responds:

Really well written, was a joy to read ! Thank you !

Interesting song! It's a little funky, gloomy, mysterious and adventurous all at once. Sounds like it would fit perfectly in a video game for a dark forest level or something. I like how you keep the main motif through the song but manage to vary it enough for it not to sound boring. The instruments you chose worked very well together too! Great work, keep it up :D

Shulkern responds:

its nothing serious obviously, but thank you for your very genuine comments! i like them

What a cool and weird (in a good way) song! I was wondering why it sounded so different with the rhythm, but then I realized it was in 7/4. The instruments are also perfect for chiptune and work together very well. The melody is also beautiful and adventurous but relaxing at the same time. I just love it a lot in general and I think it sounds very unique. Awesome work, keep it up!!

BigBlueBazooka responds:

Thanks for the kind words.

Cool chiptune! I like how it goes through multiple phases and all of them sound so happy! The short breaks in certain places really help to make the song flow better I think. The only thing I would maybe adjust is the volume as it gets a little overwhelming when everything feels very loud. Otherwise great job, keep it up!

SkittleWaffle responds:

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate that!

I don't understand the lyrics, but I think the song is beautiful! I love the progression, it's constantly changing into a different phase, and the transitions themselves are non intrusive and seamless. The instruments work so well together, and everything is just complimenting each other. The way you also mastered the voice is great as well! Awesome work, keep it up :D

RyuiY responds:

Thanks for amazing review!! :D
Sorry. I forget to write the lyrics in description. I'll do it soon.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for listening :)
(Sorry for weird English I'm from japan)

Love it!
The title definitely matches the mood from the song, but is also somewhat hopeful and happy which is beautiful. The instruments you chose are great, especially the lead instrument for a more moody song. The harmony is very well written too. I also like how relaxing the song feels. Great work, keep it up!!

Matches responds:

Thanks stranger! Exactly what I was going for here 🙂

Woah, this is pretty neat for many different reasons. First of all, with such a limited instrument choice, you really managed to create an amazing composition without many instrument layering. Secondly, the melody does feel like something that would fit climbing, with different parts to the mood such as gloom, desperation, uncertainty, but also somewhat perseverance-y. The wind effect was really cool too! At 3:48 it gets crazy though, as if you're finally almost there or just getting closer to the climax. And at 5:12 everything changes! The song gets happy, uplifting, and feels like it let's go of all the tension the listener builds up with a good ending. All this stuff together makes it feel like you're telling an awesome story with all those mood and energy changes. And a last thing, the composition style really reminds me of classical music, which is pretty cool considering the instruments you used.

I'd love to say much more but in general I can just say amazing work, and keep it up!!

tysm!

Sounds like a great house track! I'd even say it sounds like tropical house a little bit. The melody is catchy, the flow is nice, and the instruments work together perfectly. Even though the song is high energy, I also find it really relaxing at the same time and just happy. Awesome work here, keep it up!!

MinixOfficial responds:

Woah Thanks

Relaxing and moody, dark and beautiful :D
I really love how this sounds. It feels like something that would play on an island beach or something late at night, past midnight or something. The development of the song over time is also really nice and soothing. I also really like all the weird percussion you put into this, it adds unique charm. Great work, keep it coming!!

SlyFrost responds:

I appreciate the kind words!

There's a lot of story telling and cinematic elements to this song, and I'm not even talking about the description you gave! The gradual tempo shifts, the build ups, the phases, they all work very well together to make this song feel like an adventure. If I were not to read the description you left and just imagine something along to this, it would definitely be a desert, and an uncertain journey type of feeling full of hope and mystery. The added in tick like percussion also amplifies the theme of time in the song. It's just amazing how much you managed to fit into those six minutes! I wanna say so much more but in general I just wanna say you did an amazing job, keep it coming!!

Ramn0 responds:

Big thanks for these words and im happy you enjoyed!
There is definitely more to come (well... eventually)
