What an amazing song! The start was very interesting and calming, but the rise at 0:30 was unexpected and gave a very awesome kick to the piece. It definitely feels like something that could play around sunrise, and has a lot of emotion packed into it (especially at the heavy parts around 0:30 and 1:30). I definitely think you did a great job at making it a mix of peaceful and balanced like you described as the rises and falls balance each other out, with a very smooth ending. Amazing work, keep it coming!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. It quickly became one of my favorite pieces and I think it's a perfect ending to the album.

Unusual start, but very interesting especially as it leads into such a beautiful and sweet melody. I love when the melody comes in it's initially soft and calming, but then it turns more into this technoey/actiony piece with compression. The subtle pitch changes are hard to notice but add a lot of character. In general this felt very nice and beautiful to listen to, so I think it's awesome and keep up the great work!!

Very strange and interesting ambient piece. It feels desolate and a little bit depressing, as if you've stumbled upon something empty, or if something is going to end or just didn't go right. The way you managed to achieve this using almost just exclusively pads and textures is awesome. Great work, keep it up!

Nice, a very soothing and beautiful song :)
The song feels like it would play over a montage of a night passing by in fast motion. I like how around 1:50 it shfits moods a little bit to this industrial and more actiony setting for a bit before going back to being relaxing and magical. The second half of the song is also very interesting because it feels quieter, less actiony, but almost as if it represents the moon or something going away giving way to the sun. Or just plunging into complete darkness, I can't tell haha. Anyways great work, interesting use of instruments and moods! Keep it up :D

Thanks a lot! Very interesting to hear how other people see different parts of the song, appreciate it.

Beautiful song! Definitely feels very magical. It feels like telling a story except through different changes in dynamics and harmony and melody. There's so many different phases, the song feels like it never stagnates and carries on beautifully with its ever evolving melody. The dynamics sound really realistic to an orchestral setting, and instruments work so great together. You've done an amazing and beautiful job here, keep up the amazing work!!!

Thanks so much for the review, it's much appreciated! Really appreciate the kind words.

Ngl I was expecting this to be a shitpost with someone singing dobby are you ok over smooth criminal or something lmao, but this ended up being a pretty nice little synthwave loop! I like how it develops over time, introducing more instruments and varying up the melody a little. Also feels like it loops perfectly. Good job, keep up the great work!

rYANCOOPERmx5 responds:

lol i never thought of the title for the song in that way. Its actually referencing my old dog named dobby who had minor seizures from time to time.

Sounds pretty cool and groovy, I like it :)
The slow introduction of stuff like bass and vocal instrument was pretty cool. The sudden tempo shift was also pretty interesting and added more character. Great work, keep it up!! :D

Super interesting start and then transition into something absolutely crazy! The beginning is really beautiful and I love the subtle introduction of techno elements until a crazy drop. After the drop I initially wondered if the melody from the start will come back in some way or be continued, and it was in a bit which just sounded awesome. The change to 3/4 surprised me around 1:30 but man that was a beautiful decision. In general this track is full of twists and turns and many different surprises, and radiates soul and uniqueness. Keep up the crazy good work, this was beyond amazing!!!

Thanks for amazing review! :D
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for listening :)

Very groovy for sure, and definitely has that 90s feel to it! It feels like it can fit so many different things, like shopping music, beach music, travel music, and even just feels a little like sonic-music haha. I love the use of more than one piano (rhodes and acoustic combined here and there), and the percussion you got going really makes the mood happy and exciting. All the different instruments you used in general just work so well together and flow perfectly into each other. Amazing work, keep it up!!

Nice combo you got going here, kind of a mix between ambient/relaxing and actiony. The drums establish the pace while the pads try to ease the song at the same time. Sounds like something that would be very fitting on some kind of peaceful planet mission in a game, or something underwater. Great job again, keep it up!
